Sebastian smiled when the other explained that he was a guest as well. He was named Alarian. Sebastian liked the name. "I'm Sebastian," he spoke in return and dipped his head. Sebastian looked over his wounds. The medic stepped closer. "May I have a closer look?," he asked politely.
"What happened?," He wondered. Sebastian would have to be creative as he didn't have a herb stash here at all. Perhaps they could look for herbs together if he would need anti inflammatory medicine. The man wiggled his docked tail. "How come you are a guest here?," he asked curiously.
here is the thread where he was wounded!
Alarian nodded, wide-eyed, in response to Sebastian's advice; he tried to ignore the fluttering in his stomach at his smile. Oh, hell— this guy was way too cute. He suddenly regretted having spilled so much about his situation. But, it was done now.
It's complicated,
He murmured, deciding he didn't want to concern Sebastian with the details of his life. No, there were better ways to spend time with one so pretty. At the mention of war, though, his ears perked and he almost forgot his attraction entirely— until sympathy tugged at him, hearing that the male had not fared well in the war.
I'm sorry all of that happened to you,
Alarian began, then paused. I heard about a war with some bad wolves— from a member of the Morningside pack, before they relocated. Are you from Redhawk Caldera, or Moonspear?
He rather hoped it wasn't the former, after hearing what Delight had to say about the pack.
so sorry for the wait on this!
He was surprised to hear the information— a sister in Morningside, Moonspear apparently not part of the war. That's just what I heard,
He offered with his own slightly thoughtful frown. Weird. Maybe they had been involved in some other way, or— ah, who cares anyway. Cute guy, better things to talk about.
Morningside is fairly close to my pack; we're the Bracken Sanctuary— east of here, past Morningside's claim,
Alarian gave the information right before he registered that other bit of information— Sebastian was from Redhawk Caldera. Oh. Well, it sounded like he wasn't part of the pack anymore, anyway. Maybe you could visit sometime.
He paused, then, rising to his feet slowly. Um— you know, I'm kind of... interested in herbs. I know a few things, but— well, I'd appreciate any more knowledge you can offer. Maybe we can, uh, look for herbs together, too?
want to wrap up here? <3
It is,
He confirmed with a smile. Dawnlark Plains— they've also claimed Phoenix Maplewood near there.
It was definitely a reminder that he'd have to visit soon, to establish some sort of connection. They were neighbors, after all— an allyship would be beneficial.
It didn't bother him that Sebastian hadn't heard of Bracken Sanctuary. We're a fairly new pack; haven't been settled longer than a few months.
His smiled brightened slightly when Sebastian agreed to visit; honestly, he figured the man would forget or just never find the time, but it was cute that he agreed so readily. Alarian hoped he did stop by.
Alright, let's go look then,
He said softly, taking a few tentative steps toward where he thought they might find something. The marigold Sebastian had mentioned sounded good right about now. Alarian slowed after a couple beats, wincing as his injuries remembered to protest. Uhhh— I might be a little slow... I hope that's not a bother.
