@Zula @Serem Reunion! Backdated to the 20th after Hyacinth leaves. Dawn ish.

The medic woman had seemed to notice his constant circling and so he had stepped from the shadows motioning for Serem to follow. He slowly made his way toward Zula, keeping his gaze fixated on the strange woman. She held his eyes and seemed to be a bit frightened of him, standing up and stepping away from Zula. "I won't hurt you because you saved her. Normally i'd try to have a bit of fun but...you did me a favor. Thank you" he spoke softly so he wouldn't wake Zula up quite yet. The woman seemed shaken by his words and he snorted, stepping toward Zula. The pale furred woman growled at him and spoke to him, speaking. He laughed and shook his head, explaining he meant Zula no harm. he gave his word but told her to leave and the blue eyed healer seemed satisfied or maybe just eager to escape and headed off. Stepping closer to Zula he nudged her gently, a low rumble leaving his throat "Wake up Zula...It's Nikan." he said softly and lay down beside her blue and purple eyes focused intensely on her filled with worry and anger and relief.
Serem saw the female and indeed this was the one she had met back at the mountain. Curiosity struck the female but she kept her distance and let the two reunite and hoped that she was not still injured.

Sorry for making you wait!

When she opened her eyes she saw him and for a moment she thought she was dreaming. Nikan? she mumbled, not sure that he was really there. She lifted her head to look around. Where's Hyacinth? she asked, not realizing that Nikan probably didn't know who Hyacinth was. Zula felt kinda bad that she hadn't gotten the chance to thank her properly. But she knew that if they ever saw each other again, she would. For now, she was glad that Nikan was there. Her eyes moved to another wolf standing behind Nikan and she recognized the black she-wolf from Kelina's pack. Her head still felt blurry, but she remembered that her name was Serem.
Nikan breathed a sigh of relief as Zula woke up "Yes it's me. Shit Zula, you gave me a fucking heart attack! You couldn't hear the waterfall?!"he started out calm but then began to snap as the emotions all boiled over and burst from him at once. He growled and began to pace, ignoring her question about someone by the name of Hyacinth assumedly the healer. "You could have died. It would have been on my shoulders! I would have been alone again" he turned to face her his eyes wide with the knowledge of what he'd just admitted. Sadness, fear, and self disgust made him turn away from her again and sigh.

@Serem I went ahead and posted, because I wasn't sure if you were still planning on posting next, but I can change it if you want!

Zula ducked her head a little when he growled at her and just said a barely audibly I'm sorry. For a moment she felt guilty, but how was it her fault that she thought the waterfall was just a turbulent stream? She could have died indeed, but she didn't so he really should just calm down and stop pacing. Stop, you're making me nervous, she said as she tried to stand up, sounding more irritated then she actually was. To be honest, she felt really happy to see him. I'm here, I'm okay - well, as okay as I can be, she said and then she quickly brushed her muzzle agains his shoulder in a way to comfort him.
Nikan paused in his pacing and turned to face her again, temper flaring despite her apology. She was sorry? What if he had been unable to find her? What if Hyacinth hadn't come by and fixed her up? She could be so much worse off than she is! Then his own thoughts slowly sank in. She could have been worse off but she was as fine as she could be and she seemed to be okay enough to continue onward.

When she told him to stop pacing, sounding annoyed he gave a low chuckle. She was still the only one who wasn't downright nasty that had the balls to sound irritated or annoyed, or snap at him. As her muzzle brushed against his shoulder he tensed and almost pulled away but then let out a slow sigh, closing his eyes and stepping forward to press his nose between her ears. "I'm sorry Zula, I was just..worried. I haven't felt anything at all for anyone but myself almost my whole life and it's new to me. I don't understand or know how to control how I feel around you" he let this confession slip freely from his maw, partially lying when he said she was the first one. There had been Awinita, but what he felt for her was different, more malicious.
