Appearance
Jace has a deep, jet black coat. Towards his rear the fur has silver tips and he has a silver tip on his tail. Most obvious is his heterochromia, a verdant green right eye and a deep amber left.
Jace is smaller, only weighing 100 lbs. but his muscles are wiry and strong from his travels.

Personality
Jace is fun-loving, friendly and relaxed, but is reserved and wary of other wolves at first. Very protective of close friends whom Jace counts as family. Jace sees no distinction between good friend or family, if you have become a friend you have become a brother or sister. Due to Jace's past it is pretty difficult to gain his trust as he immediately assumes the worst about others and their motives. Any type of confrontation makes Jace nervous, he really doesn't want to get run off again; this makes him eager to please others.
Biography
Jace was born into a very superstitious pack in northern Ohio. Shortly after his birth the pack moved to Michigan due to several border disputes.
Jace's youth was about as normal as you'd expect, until his heterochromia manifested 16 weeks from his birth. The superstitious pack immediately decided it was a curse and the only way to keep the pack safe was to abandon Jace or kill him. Jace's mother implored the packs chronicler and counselor many days to allow Jace to stay. The pack, after much debate and discussion, relented saying that Jace could stay until he reached a year old and the parents would accept the consequences of the curse.
Jace continued to grow and learn like a normal pup, but was kept mostly to himself because of his "curse". When Jace reached a year, the packs warriors came and drove Jace away, for days his sorrowful howls could still be heard. Finally, Jace turned his back on his pack, cursing his former pack and family and swearing to never again join other wolves.
Jace wandered for the next year, barely making it by himself. One day he came upon the Teekon Wilds, dirty, sick and exhausted he decided to finally join another pack
