Profile of Pied: Details

Appearance

Pied has a primarily white pelt, with patches of bluish grey mottling randomly scattered across her coat in true piebald fashion. Her ears are almost completely swathed, as is a patch of fur around her right eye. She has splotches of varying sizes—from tiny spots to much larger smudges—sprinkled along her shoulders, back and rump. She wears patches of color on her elbow joints on three legs; her left foreleg is curiously unmarked. Some of her toes are colored, though not all. True to this pattern of asymmetry, her eyes are a bright yellow, with half of the right eye claimed by indigo in a beautiful display of sectoral heterochromia. She is petite in stature (29 in. x 4.75 ft. x 70 lbs.), lending her a very feminine, graceful air.

Personality

Pied is self-contained and confident without being ostentatious. She approaches social situations with a cool, affable head. Although not particularly ambitious—she does not desire power—she nevertheless behaves rather assertively when the situation calls for it. Occasionally, she may come across as spacey because she has visions of what she believes to be the dead—a belief indubitably confirmed when she began to see her father a few weeks after his disappearance—though she guards this secret carefully.

Biography

Pied's parents met when loner Brooklyn passed through the Seahawk Valley and ran into Velox, who was all too ready to settle down and start a family. They quickly paired off and decided to stake their claim nearby, establishing the Jawbone Hill pack. When they produced their first litter shortly after, their offspring were afflicted with genetic abnormalities. Only one survived: their little Pied. Brooklyn blamed himself and never seemed to move past the death of his other children. When Pied was old enough, he led his little family back to the Seahawk Valley, dropped them off and disappeared. Pied lived with her mother in her grandparents' pack until she eventually decided to go out on her own.

She has no other immediate family, though through her mother, she is related to the extensive <a href="http://wolf-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=861">Redleaf-DiSarinno line</a>. She is also mated to <a href="http://wolf-rpg.com/member.php?action=profile&uid=103">Kisu Virtúte</a>. On April 4, 2014, she gave birth to <a href="http://wolf-rpg.com/member.php?action=profile&uid=505">Saēna</a> and <a href="http://wolf-rpg.com/member.php?action=profile&uid=531">Pura</a>. Two other nameless sons became stuck, causing all three of them to pass away.
