Lavakho was born a loud and boisterous pup (his namesake -- Lavakhat: loud) in a small litter of two. However, his unnamed sister was stillborn, leaving him the only surviving pup of the litter. Being born to Khal Drojharko and one of his many women made him an arrogant child who believed himself to be invincible. However, this was not the case as the whole Khalas beat the notion of respect into the pup through physical means at a young age, drastically altering his path/personality.

As an adolescent, Lavakho learned to hold his tongue and fade to the background. Instead of making a name for himself within the Khalas, he devoted his time to following his half-brother, Rakharo, like a stray dog. Eventually joining with his Khalas when he set out on his own.

Things went alright for a while. The Khalas prospered, and Lavakho had earned the reputation of being a fierce warrior on the battleground and a fantastic hunter. But, shit hit the fan when Khal Drojharko, who feared Rakharo's Khalas was growing too powerful, sparked a bloody war that effectively split the family in two. Lavakho had his qualms about fighting against his father, but ultimately stayed loyal his brother as he fought by his side.

Eventually, Rakharo led them to victory at great cost. Many of their ranks laid amongst the dead and many of the survivors deserted, including Rakharo's litter-mates. However, Lavakho remained at his brother's side, eventually accompanying him into the Teekon Wilds to start a new herd.
