Appearance
Altair stands at slightly larger then average in size. His body and legs are long and slender and yet his shoulders are broad and muscular. His fur is mostly brown in colour with lighter undersides and around his muzzle. Around his jade green eyes his fur is darker, almost black. Along with his ears and a line that runs down the full length of his spine.
Personality
It can be easy to see why Altair might rub someones fur up the wrong way without even knowing what he has done wrong. He was born and raised into a pack with much different beliefs and the traditional pack ways are foreign to him. His pack was his father's harem but also included slaves and royal guards to protect and serve the many wives of the Shah (King).
While Altair has much respect for the opposite gender he believes to be above them as his birth right. Taught not to mingle or harm them, but that one day he may have a harem of his own like his father.
Altair can speak fluently in the Persian language and also in the native language of the Glacier National Park. He has also be raised to worship the Wise Lord Ahura Mazda, the supreme god.

Biography
The only child, <i>the forgotten child</i>, of Xerxes and Zahra. His father was the mighty Shah of Samarkand and his mother was one of his many wives. He grew up learning the ways of Samarkand and the mother tongue of both his parents. Even making a friend out of Phoebe. A girl his age given to Samarkand as tribute from another pack.

His innocent childhood soon derailed quickly the moment that his mother Zahra and another wife to his father fought to be the Shah's favourite - and lead the pack as the Shabanu. Nita won the challenge and his mother turned tail and fled Samarkand where Altair would never see her again.

The situation grew worse as time went on. His half brother Aludin, older by a few days, had gone missing. Kidnapped into another pack and Samarkand was never the same - it was falling apart. Altair felt like the outcast, everyone was looking for his brother and yet right under their noses he was isolated and ignored in favour of the Shabanu's eldest son. Resentment begun to grow inside him blaming Nita for driving away his mother and turning his father against him.

By the time Samarkand had disbanded Altair already spent the majority of his time outside of the pack borders finding trouble in every corner. When his father and Nita returned to the Land of Susa he son was left behind in Seahawk Valley becoming a lone wolf.

The only child in his litter born to <b>Xerxes</b> and <b>Zahra</b> in Blackstone Vale. He has four litters of half brothers and sisters from his father and his Shabanu <b>Nita Frostfur</b>. Their names are <b>Alduin</b>, <b>Sarohtaar</b>, <b>Viinturuth</b>, <b>Esther</b>, <b>Nebuchadnezzer</b>, <b>Paarthunax</b>, <b>Vashti</b>, <b>Sahloknir</b>, and <b>Artaxerxes</b>.
Pack History
Altair was born in Blackstone Vale in the pack known as Samarkand. Only a couple of months old the pack relocated to Wolfswood believing the Vale to be cursed.
