Primrose - or "Posie" as he was affectionately nicknamed - has always felt out of place. His parents would always regale their children with stories of their exploits, ranging from creating their own pack, against all odds to one of the many tales of battle that they'd use as bedtime stories. Posie was always affected differently by these tales. While his siblings developed a love of them, and a desire to go out and discover their own mythical beasts to slay, little Primrose was kept awake by night terrors, and vowed to never leave the safety of his home.

Fate had something else in store for him, though, when an eager young hawk caught sight of the little boy, out playing among the pines. The hawk scooped him up with the intent of eating him, but Posie managed to escape. He was dropped from the hawk's temporary roost and landed in a field of flowers, which likely saved his life. But that was only the beginning of his adventure - because the hawk had taken him very, very far away from home.

Following his impromptu departure, he was discovered by a trio of strangers. One, a female, was heavy with child and filled with raging hormones - so when she spotted the pup, the two males with her could not protest. So for a little while, Posie lived with his new family. He liked being the older brother for a change, and helped out with the newborn litter when it arrived. But it became clear to the adults that Posie was ill-equipped. He was too nervous to be left on his own for long periods, too passive to be a warden, and too squeamish to be a hunter (he only ever ate from caches, and refused to learn about where his food comes from). When the pack's number had swelled a little more, it was the collective decision of the adults to cut their ties with Primrose. Although it hurt the new mother - as well as Posie - to separate, it was for the betterment of the pack. So Posie departed, and wandered for a while.

He finds himself in the Teekon Wilds now, desperate for companionship, but doubting his own worth.
