Born the last member of an old, mid-ranking family, Lucani was raised in Weatherside, a woodland pack prone to flooding. Its wolves were nicknamed the Damp-furs by their neighbours. When Weatherside was taken over by a pair of sexist tyrants, Lucani led a peaceful protest and ultimately left the pack, taking her growing healing skills with her. She ended up with a fledgling pack called Sleeping Dragon, but forfeited her place when she fell deathly ill and deemed herself useless to the group. She now lives with the Donnelaith wolves by the sea, where she has been cured and has regrown her old strength and pride.
