Profile of Mitanni: Details
Appearance
Age never really developed Mitanni out of the stature of a lanky youth, nor did it add any height to her small frame. Maxing out at only twenty-three inches at the shoulder and retaining a slim and trim physique that stays somewhere around sixty-five pounds, she is certainly not one to intimidate with her physical presence alone. Thankfully, she knows this, and tends to avoid or run from altercations should they arise. In exchange for her lost mass, Mitanni is rather quick on her feet and uses it to her advantage when she can. Her fur, somewhat dull but soft to the touch, is a mottled mixture of blacks and browns with the darker shades amassing mostly along her lower body and the lighter hues predominantly settled across her topside. A black mask fits neatly upon her face, circling over amber eyes and encompassing her muzzle.

After being attacked, Mitanni sustained a severe bite wound on her left foreleg that has healed into a very noticeable scar.

Personality
Distant. Realist. Defensive. Paranoid.
For Mitanni, survival is key. In her case, that means keeping everyone at arm’s length. It’s not necessarily because she doesn't like or want others to get close, but comes instead from knowing herself. She’s smaller, weaker, and an easily picked upon target by those who would exploit her frailty, so rather than giving others the chance to take what’s hers or run her out of a territory, she’s usually quick to keep her distance. And since she’s fast, it usually works well for her.

Chatty. Inquisitive. Guarded.
Living a life running from dangers, however, has left her wanting company more than she cares to admit, and if there are no immediate threats perceived she can be up to conversing for a time. She is actually quite a talkative wolf when she gets going, though rarely does she divulge much about her past or herself other than what might be obvious on the surface. But the same sort of consideration for privacy is not given to others; she’s curious too, and likes asking questions if she can’t figure something out on her own. In her mind, you can never know enough.

Independent.
Though there is a part of her that is intrigued by the prospect of life with others, she isn't at all sure how she would fit in. Fending for herself is all she really knows how to do, and working with others is a process she never learned well enough. She doesn't think of herself as an asset to anyone--except herself--and anything beyond that has never really crossed her mind.
Biography
Pre-Teekon Wilds: Life began rather promisingly for the girl. She was born within a sturdy, stable pack, had parents that cared for her and did their best to raise her right, and with three siblings there were plenty to romp and play with along the way.

She was destined to lead a healthy, comfortable life, but the stability of her familial home dissolved as their pack was attacked and overtaken by another. The little family raced away on their own--a poor choice they would later realize with regret--and tried to cling to any sense of stability that they could. But pack life had spoiled them, made them soft to the ways of the wild, and within a short time they were broken further.

Her father was lost, and her devastated mother tried to hold them all together, but it was obvious the struggle to do so was too challenging. At a year, with a skill set not yet refined, she and her siblings set out on their own, and eventually split up.

Her lonely, somewhat feral life, is not the easiest, but Mitanni has learned to live it, and though it is rough she rather likes the unpredictability of it.

Post-Teekon Wilds: After arriving, Mitanni did a great deal of wandering. Surprised by the friendliness of the natives, she began to lose her wariness and socialize freely, even going so far as to join a fledgling pack run by Malice known as Moonlit Hills.

She worried about fitting in, but adjusted rather quickly and stuck around even when one of the leaders disappeared. She began to focus her attention on bettering herself, working on her stealth, spying, and hunting.

After a few months, she was turned on by one of their pack, a coywolf named Judas, sustaining an injury to her left foreleg that left a scar. It made her wary while she recovered, but she refused to let that wariness control her and even made amends with the one who had attacked her.

The disappearance of her alpha, who had abandoned the pack to join another, led to the disbandment of Moonlit Hills, and Mitanni found herself once again a lone wolf. With Judas, she traveled west to the Moonspear mountain and joined the pack by the same name.

Her stay there was short-lived. After only a few weeks, she drifted away without a word, abandoning the kindness and shelter offered to her and disappearing into the shadows where she felt she belonged.

For a long while, she stayed there, hidden and lurking, feeling guilty and undeserving of anything "good" or "forgiving." She continues to travel in this manner now, daring to reveal herself at times and doing her best to avoid those she's possibly let down.
