Nova has been traveling since leaving her birth pack at nine months old. Not for any reason other than wanderlust - her life there always was and would have been grand, leading the pack -, but she and her brother Marley left together, leaving sister Holly to lead the pack. On their first birthday, he split off from her to form his own pack with his new mate, Lucy, but Nova wouldn't settle down yet.
The next six years of her life was all adventures and trouble, then taking off - or being chased away - again. Sometimes she traveled with others, but they all left eventually. She's had many litters with many people - but she only ever took three true mates in her life.
Around her seventh birthday, however, as she was on her way to settle some old scores, she ran into -literally- a little red and black pup named Grace. She was severely hurt, her hind left leg dislocated and the joint shattered, not to mention bleeding from almost every part of her body and terrified of the wind; Nova took her in and, for the next few months, settled in a den with Grace. She healed her, taught her about herbs, told her about the ways of packs, and near the end of their time together Grace took her surname of Rose.
When faced with Grace's pleading to come with the old she-wolf, she knew she couldn't let such things happen. She was going to a very aggressive place, and the fearful, barely fully grown female was surely unable to handle it. So she pointed her to the Teekon Wilds, the next place she planned on traveling to, and told Grace she would find her there.
Upon finding her in Phoenix Maplewood months later, the elderly she-wolf was turned away and forced to leave Grace yet again, but wouldn't allow her to leave the pack she'd come accustomed to so quickly. With promises to stay close, Nova makes her leave yet again to find somewhere in the Teekons that will accept her, hoping somewhere close to the maplewood. 'Warbone comes across her and helps her, offering her a home and protection as well as a family as long as she serves the pack. She accepts, perhaps having a little bit of a thing for the rugged male, and soon brings Grace to join her after the Maplewood pack leaves to form Silver Creek.
When Warbone vanishes and Tavi takes over the Marauders, Nova and the female clashed. Eventually, after meeting Phares and learning of Raas, Nova Rose leaves the willows to travel with the red man, following him on the earth and in the ways of Raas. It's not long before they come across Hiram, and the Cardinal brings them home into his church.
