Trick was born to two alpha's of a pack which name was never said around him. He was the only pup who survived birth, but his mother soon died after giving birth to him. His father was broken, and so they weren't prepared for a war with the Asgardian Meadow. He was stolen at the age of around 2 weeks and kept by the alpha's of the Asgardians.

His adoptive mother already had a son, and they were all very white and proper arctic wolves. Only his mother accepted him truly as her son, and perhaps Thor did too. It was when he became aware of his different hue of pelt that they told him he was adopted, and he acted like he didn't care. But deep inside the hatred for the Asgardians was growing.

He ran into an old, wise man who had studied plants for almost his whole life. He taught Trick everything he knew about poisons, herbs and healing. Trick became so twisted that he made up rumors about the Asgardians, eventually starting a war. He fled after a fight with his brother to never return again, taking with him his hate, but he had to leave behind his humanity.

He traveled everywhere, studying poisons and plants all on his own, sometimes running into weary or wounded travelers that he helped out. It was from an old man that he heard about Teekon, the night before he died under his care. He traveled there, and found it somewhat alright, so he stayed.
