<img src="http://i.imgur.com/POvdPrh.png" style="float: right; padding: 15px; padding-right: 30px; margin: auto;" title="by owl" ♥>
Though Tenzin is a lean wolf, the man is keen on physical fitness and keeps himself toned and healthy. His body is a temple. His coat is the white of freshly fallen snow and shimmers in his good health. He has no markings or scars, as it was taboo for monks to alter their body beyond what is not avoidable (such as being attacked). His eyes are a glowing teal though they do not glow with happiness. He often has a sad look hiding within them, but most monks did; they sacrificed a lot for their spirituality. Regardless of his past sacrifices, he carries himself proudly and dignified, always quick to smile. He usually stands with his front paws together, head high, and back legs spread to give himself a proud stance.

Personality

Tenzin is the epitome of honesty. As a monk, he is sworn to tell the truth or not to say anything at all, should the truth put his fellow monks in danger. Secrecy is the most important thing to him and if a question is asked that he cannot answer, a gentle smile will ease onto his lips. His privacy is not to be rude or mysterious, but he man simply cannot share some information due to his beliefs. He will not share his secrets, your secrets, or the secrets of your enemies no matter how much you offer to pay him. He exists solely to help others and to heal them mentally and physically, though his knowledge of herbs and physical care is not as strong as his knowledge of mental awareness. He is also sworn to a life of loneliness, as monks do not take mates nor do they reproduce unless it is absolutely dire (and after many nights of prayer and sacrifice). Tenzin will help the helpless regardless of what has happened or what they have done - it is his duty as a monk.

Biography

Tenzin was born into Jokhang, a large pack that was made up of smaller factions - individual groups that held a specialty, and helped to create a cohesive unit. There were the volatile warriors, the front line of assault for their power-hungry leader, who charged in to battle with neighboring packs in order to drive out threats and assimilate any survivors; contrasting to these fiendish beasts of mayhem and destruction were the civilians of the pack. The monks, who refused to practice violence unless it was necessary, such as for providing for the hungry, and the clerics. These devoted women were just as passive as the monks, and held quite an esteemed level of knowledge when it came to herbs and remedies while the monks focused themselves on mental health.

He started life with most of the other pups, who all go through a bit of basic training for the majority of their first year. Cleric and monk children often trained together, learning basic herbal remedies and mental stability while also being introduced to the gods and beliefs of their passive ancestors. Warrior young trained in a more harsh and unforgiving environment, but Tenzin grew up among the other caring members of Jokhang. Of these other pups, his best friend was a female named Yonten. They shared many lessons together and it was encouraged for the cleric and monk children to get to know each other, as often they are called upon one another. When Tenzin had to swear to his life of solitude, an eternal sadness took root within him. Yonten did not have to swear to such a life, as the warriors often chose cleric mates if there were not female warriors available (and often, there weren't). Regardless, Tenzin was readily available for her at every step.

When he graduated basic training near the day of his first birthday, he became a Disciple of the Monastery and continued to learn the way of the monks. There was a lot of meditating and mental challenges, and eventually he moved on to being an Apostle who helped teach younger monks the way of the Monastery. He traveled to the cleric's holy ground to teach pups and sit in on births to pray for the newborn. When he ascended into being an established monk, he was present more often for litters.

It wasn't long before Yonten called upon him to bless her newborns. Tenzin had worried about it for some time, as her pregnancy had been most unfavorable and she was often sick. The clerics had done all they could for her comfort, but all of their herbs and all of the monks' prayers couldn't have saved her. Yonten successfully birthed her litter, but unfortunately died during the childbirth. Tenzin prayed feverishly for her soul and swore to take the best care of her children that he was able. Two of her children went directly to the warrior lands while her only female, a small girl named Dawa, was entrusted to the cleric Jampa. Tenzin made an effort to be present in many of her important learning rituals.

When Raheerah tore through Jokhang like a possessed demon, the clerics were hit hard. Tenzin and many of the other monks raced to help where they could. There was blood and death everywhere around them and it made him exceptionally unsettled to see so many of the gentle clerics cut down in a fit of dragon's rage. Though Yonten's warrior children were lost to his knowledge forever, Tenzin searched the carnage hurriedly for her cleric daughter. There was a gathering of warriors and monks taking Raheerah and Tenzin was called to help; he obeyed and was taken aback by what he saw. Crumpled, broken, and bloody, there lay Dawa below the dragon who killed so many of her cleric sisters. As Raheerah was wrestled away, Tenzin was told to leave the girl to the clerics since she was likely dead already. The clerics couldn't heal her the way she'd need, he thought; he could help her overcome what she saw if he could pull her back to life. He scruffed her small body quickly and took off after his brothers.

He did all he could for her, but he could not ease her pain. She was strong and resilient. To Tenzin's surprise—and with much relief—she did pull through. She was mangled, blind, and broken - but she was alive. She had many peculiar perks to her sickness and Tenzin could not keep her within the Monastery for much longer. He needed to get her somewhere she could cope privately without the over-stimulation from other monks and visiting clerics. She needed to find peace in solitude. Tenzin made a deal with the dragon who they kept locked within a dark, damp cave: if Raheerah helped them escape Jokhang, Tenzin would see to the monster's freedom. However, as they traveled away from the large expanse of Jokhang territory, it became more and more apparent to Tenzin that Raheerah could not be trusted to live within the real world. Tenzin refused to give the word of freedom to the dragon, as they now venture into Teekon Wilds in search of paradise.
