Passionate, hedonistic, but also incredibly egotistical. Hollis avoids true attachments to others as much as he can, but inevitably does root himself in place to those he cares about. Love becomes dangerous because of his eagerness to prove his loyalty, power, and ability to do whatever it takes for the individual he is fixated upon; hate, therefore, becomes an unhealthy obsession - and quite violent. His every action is used as an escape from the life that came before. He assumes new identities readily, hides his true self behind a fabrication of lies and deceit, but in the end he cannot hold the fallacy up for long, as his true colors inevitably show.
