Shida was conceived on the whims of his fathers pleasure, his mother a low ranking female had no choice in the matter. As such this obsidian creature grew up the bane of the pack, and without the protection of his father. His mother died while he was still very young, due to a hunting accident, while out with the Alpha Female, Charatrise. He was placed in the care of an old blind male, Chade, who raised him from two months old. From Chade, Shida learned the art of stealth and evasion. He learned how to move without being seen, and where to aim for an effective kill. He grew into a formidable hunter.

It wasn't long before he used his new found skills, and put them to the test....
