Ikari

Ikari is a fierce and unapproachable wolf, evident in his appearance, and even in his personality when his temper strikes. He has this vehement stare, intensified by his white facial markings and the lack of life in his golden eyes staring down at you from a massively scary height.
He usually uses his white tail tip to confuse his pursuers during a chase, but they should expect a kick to the face or a swipe from his powerful paws if they get too close. He's grown large muscles from these ordeals.
Ikari is a massive creature, but not just by height. With wide shoulders and a thick frame, he's a pretty impending force. His fur is short, spiky, and coarse to the touch, and is almost gold in color.
He is hardly the most subtle creature. He tends to crash about, running down anything dumb enough to stand in his way. He rarely checks to see where he's going, and has tripped, fallen, and bumped into things more times than he can count. This has left him with quite the collection of little scars across his face and body.
One of Ikari's more current features is his left ear, most of which is now missing, from a fight with Snake.
When he speaks, Ikari's voice is low and a bit gruff. He either makes intense, almost unsettling eye contact, or none at all when speaking to someone, both of which tend to make conversation a bit tough.
The catch? He's a woman.

Ikari is a relatively friendly, casual, and carefree kinda guy. For the most part, that is.
Things often do not go as planned. He's got a short temper, so every slight annoyances become ten times more irritable. He doesn't understand why he would suddenly want to hurt someone over little things, but he doesn't consider it important enough to bother with. Instead, he blames it on whomever annoyed him without a doubt or a second thought.
He's the rough and tumble sort. When it comes to expressing himself, Ikari usually settles for whatever the lupine version of a punch on the shoulder and a nod is. He tends to speak only in strings of alternating insults and threats, which seems to suffice as emotions for him.
As far as intelligence goes, Ikari doesn't appear to be the sharpest, although he isn't exactly dumb. His vocabulary and knowledge of the world is limited, and he's usually too busy with his "tough guy" act to think of asking questions. As is the usual with him, he compensates for his lack of knowledge with violence, and will headbutt anyone who seems like they're flaunting his intelligence.
Beneath this gruff exterior, however, is someone a bit more sensitive. No less likely to stir up trouble but still less, well, violent in terms of what's going on in his head. Ikari has a deep appreciation for nature, and can probably identify most any herb or flower he comes across. He enjoys a quiet moment every now and again, listening to the birds and the trees. However, after this moment is over, he returns to crashing about and yelling at the top of his lungs.

Biography
The story of Ikari begins in an obscure part of the world with a small family and a boy who was not, in fact, a boy.
Ikari was born, and still is, a female. She was the youngest of her litter, which consisted of four males and one female aside from herself. The eldest brother, Anmo was groomed to take over his father's place as leader of the family. The middle brother, Baku, was taught to be an excellent hunter and soldier. The youngest brother, Fujin, was trained to be a healer. Amabie, the elder sister, was taught by the very best around on how to behave like a proper lady, and was soon set up with a young male from a neighboring family.
As the youngest and smallest of the litter, there wasn't much left to give to Ikari, and she was left to her own devices. For awhile she took to sitting in on Amabie's lessons, but eventually grew tired of this and went to learn the art of soldiering from Baku. When this was brought to the attention of her parents, however, it was quickly and thoroughly brought to a halt.
With nothing else to do and little for her at home, Ikari made the sudden and rash decision to leave home. Within the first week of travel, however, she discovered that, simply by nature of her gender, she was in danger of being refused aid in her wanderings, and possibly even being sent back home. Taking bits and pieces of her lessons with Baku, plus scraps of her observations of males, Ikari rewrote herself into a rough approximation of the masculine gender.
The first month or so was tough, and her facade was seen through by more than one of those that she passed on her journey. However, as time progressed, she began to mold more and more into her new self, and eventually she became almost fully a he.
After awhile, Ikari left the lands surrounding his home, and the immediate danger of being returned home passed. Despite this, he continued to behave as a male, as he realized this is what he wanted, and that that is truly who he is. Although he does have his moments of... sheness, for the most part, Ikari has become an entirely different wolf.
