Grim is a large, long-legged, rangy wolf with the thick, insulated fur that characterizes his subspecies. Its pale color is best described as vanilla bean, as it’s liberally peppered through with black ticking and flecks. On his face is a striking butterscotch mask whose shape resembles a stylized ram’s skull. It’s due to this marking that he received the nicknames “Aries” and “Ramskull” and the slightly less flattering “Grimgram” — the latter mostly by young upstarts who would do better to keep their mouths shut. Grimalkin’s eyes are bourbon in color and are very pretty, but only when they’re hit by the light in just the right way. Mostly they just hover in the semi-sweet chocolate range, midway between milk and dark. He stands 34” at the shoulder and weighs in at a hefty 110 pounds.
