Appearance
A standard Siberian husky with a charcoal dorsal side and a stark, snow-white underside. His eyes are a deep brown with pupils nearly hidden in all but direct sunlight. It's difficult to tell, but his eyesight is leaving him due to juvenile cataracts. His fur is course and disheveled. Holden is on the small side for huskies, standing 21 inches at the shoulder and weighing only 39 lbs.

A hippie at heart, Holden is extremely laid-back and an advocate of enjoying life by indulging in your desires. He was always laid-back, but his emphasis on indulgence came to be after meeting Oqdis and learning about the god who will bring The End. While no pacifist, Holden will avoid conflict as much as possible out of a distaste for it and not willing to risk being enslaved by God for eternity by getting himself killed.
His beliefs paired with his nature have made him quite lazy. He only puts effort in for his own comfort, which includes searching for hallucinogenic mushrooms and jimsonweed to reach a euphoric state.
Biography
Holden was bred by a backyard breeder. His family was not properly cared for, as the breeder was simply trying to make money off of them. Thus, there were far more dogs than they could afford, and all of them had genetic health issues. This lousy breeding can also largely be to blame for his atypical, lazy behavior, despite his breed.
He was purchased by a small farmer but not given much attention. Lonely and curious about the outside world, he one day bolted out the door and never looked back. Living in the wild was a struggle; he was still lonely, and now he was starved, too. Holden eventually met Oqdis, who told him about The End that was coming and the god behind it. This resonated with him, giving him hope for a better life. Now, he travels with Oqdis and Longshanks, who spread the message to others. He isn't quite as concerned with converting others but tags along, anyhow. With their company, he is able to enjoy the rest of his days in this life before The End.
