Profile of Larch: Details
Appearance
Larch's main coat is a split between a rich tan across her rump, back and shoulders, and a much paler underside, which includes her throat and leaks onto her face in a wedge-shaped blaze which fades between her eyes. Her honey-coloured top coat is ticked with striking black guard hairs, except on her right shoulder where she bears scarred tissue and shorter, paler fur. Her tail is full and thick, although it has an obvious kink towards the tip.
Personality
Larch is an observant and perceptive specimen, but that doesn't mean she stays out of the action; she works hard and plays even harder, cherishing her friendships and ever keen to hone her physical skills.
She's a confident female, unafraid to ask questions, voice her opinions or approach others, although she can be evasive at times.
Larch holds capable wolves in high regard and gets anxious around the weak and vulnerable. Although she strives not to be unkind, she can be blunt in conversation.
Biography
Larch grew up with the pedigree of a well-mannered lady but as a pup she was often too rambunctious to pay attention to manners or the carefully observed etiquette of her birth pack.
Born along with two brothers and an ailing sister, Larch was often outnumbered and teased as a youngster, which led her to develop a sharp tongue and a desire to come out on top in life.
Larch was often expected to care for her frail sister and was devastated when, shortly after their first birthday, her younger sibling lost her fight for life.
Larch took off, scavenging and learning how to survive. Somewhere along the line surviving was no longer enough - she wanted to live a full life, not isolated from others, so she began to seek a new, slightly more comfortable existence.
