Winter - Tacet's winter coat comes in very thick around the shoulders and averagely thick everywhere else. The coat appears much darker in winter and is nearly black all over except for a gray tail tip.

Summer - Once he's lost his winter "weight" the coat can appear lighter though still very black. The lightness is most easily noticed around his paws, back and tail where it's become a gray color.
