Born at Severus to Livia Severina and Decius Severinus. Servius was Decius's first and only son, and therefore the heir apparent of Severus. Raised with a gaggle of older sisters, he was born near the end of Decius and Livia's natural lives. By his first birth-date he had lost his mother due to illness, and his father's ailing health meant his indoctrination came rapidly and without time for rebellion. Decius was worried that the bloodline would die out if Servius did not take his role seriously. On his death bed, Decius made Servius promise that he would leave Severus and fill the Severinus and Severina bloodlines with fresh life. Just weeks after his father's death, Servius departed from Severus, leaving it in the capable hands of his eldest sister, Galla Severina Rabiria and her mate, Nero Rabirius.
