Iskra was the only remaining pup of the previous alpha female in their pack, the only one to survive a harsh and unforgiveable winter which ultimately sparked a mutiny among the pack. With a new alpha female, of whom her father took a liking to quite quickly, Iskra was lucky to have survived the power-change. Iskra grew up to be a fast, disobedient and reckless juvenile-- the last legacy of a disgraced alpha female, hardly the sort of hostile environment she wanted to stick around in.

It culminated with Iskra finally picking a fight she couldn't win-- one with her father. She fled, injured and alone, to lick her wounds.
