Kaihra was born to a small pack in Northern Canada. When a traitor walked into their ranks, Kaihra's pack was overthrown from the inside. Her mother forced Kaihra and her brothers to flee when the rival pack gained the upper hand in the fight. While her parents held off the attackers from following, Kaihra and her brothers ran.

Uncertain whether her parents lived, Kaihra travelled South with her brothers in obedience to her parent's final command to move as far away as possible. Her brothers settled down and took mates for themselves, but Kaihra, dissatisfied with life there and haunted by regrets of leaving her parents back North, left her brothers and travelled West until she found herself in the Teekon Wilds.

Some months after aligning herself with Blacktail Deer Plateau, Kaihra departed the pack and returned to the wandering life of a lone wolf. She journeyed back North in search of answers for every question left unsettled. Kaihra didn't find her parents, but rather discovered a small commune of wolves dedicated to helping the weak, the orphaned, and the lost, and to the art of holistic healing.

Though skeptical, she joined their number and trained in their ways. Only recently has she decided to leave their nomadic life in the North to travel South again - and unexpectedly, to familiar ground.
