“Thank you, Aria.” He was soothed by their conversation, and at her notice of interest for a hunt, he considered seeking out Deirdre instead to see how she was faring. But the girl was independent, and he did not wish to suffocate her with his presence. Perhaps it was the seed of friendship with their truce – Constantine knew he could use a friend in these darker days. “A hunt it is,” he rumbled softly, casting her a small smile as he allowed her to lead the way.
