RE: pumpkin patch party — packtivity - Elwood - November 23, 2014

It was hard not to feed off of Fox and Peregrine's affectionate playfulness, and Elwood found himself laughing out loud at their antics. He covered his mouth with a paw, nearly choking on a bit of pumpkin as Peregrine mounted his mate and gave a few exaggerated thrusts. Though he didn't feel quite comfortable enough to join in the wrestling match, he was content with his surroundings; the pack and its leaders made him feel happy and welcome.

He was reflecting on his sense of joy when something soft, sticky, and wet smacked him in the side of his head. The pumpkin guts filled his ear, and the Delta's face morphed from a smile into a gaping grimace as he reached a paw up to try to remove the offensive innards from his face and ear. "Augh!" he said, shaking his head hard. With fur stained orange, he "glared" around at the group, trying to hide the smile that twitched threateningly at the corner of his lips. He couldn't quite pinpoint his attacker, and he never did figure it out before the day ended, but as he retired to his den for the night, he was tired and pleased.

RE: pumpkin patch party — packtivity - FitzDutiful - November 24, 2014

FitzDutiful let out a chuckle as Fox got hit by the pumpkin that Perry had thrown. He then promptly moved out of the way and watch from the sidelines, avoiding any pumpkin juice thrown his way. As he watched he realised how much he had missed by isolating himself.

This was his family, it was his home and he had done no one any favours by keeping to himself. It was this particular moment that he resolved to meet the wolves of his pack and protect them. It was time to get to know them and be an active part in the pack instead of living on the sidelines. Time to renew his interest in the trades that he had started to pursue.

After enough time had passed to make a decent exit, FitzDutiful excused himself. Determined that tomorrow would be the start of the new leaf.
