battleaxe - Sesi - July 20, 2015

Still set before shit goes down in the BWP - after omen and sesi finds a worm. This is for the warden trade. Thanks to Desna for the idea! This is mostly for babies and mum.

Mere hours before the skies broke open and the twister touched down, Sesi was in a frenzy. The sky was black and angry, flashing with barely contained rage. On the ground, Scarlett's silver-grey daughter mirrored that feeling. She had become aggressive, lashing out at siblings and adults alike, and now she had taken to guardian her milk buffet with as much ferocity as a tiny wolf-shaped dust-bunny could manage.

She paced the length of her mother's belly, snapping and growling at her siblings when they returned from a spot of tomfoolery at the other side of the den. If they wanted to eat, they would have to go through Sesi first.

RE: battleaxe - RIP Valette - July 20, 2015

Desna was still not bothered with the weird things she heard, she deemed them normal because her mommy was fine with it. Though she did dislike the weird... pressure that was hanging around. She was also annoyed by her sister that was so restless! She would need to do something about that. Desna stomped towards her and used her big body to get closer to her mommy. Desna literally means Boss. They picked the right name for her because Desna was instantly bossing Sesi around to not do what she was doing.

"Dwaaaa!," she spoke and stomped her tiny paws down. Her butt started wiggling meaning that Desna was ready to made a massive pounce on top of Sesi. She had learned by now that she was heavier than Sees.

RE: battleaxe - Sesi - July 20, 2015

Sesi was normally content to let Desna call the shots (within reason, of course) - the silver pup had no real leadership aspirations within their hierarchy of tots - but not today. Today, Sesi was pissed - driven to madness by her family's failure to acknowledge the Big Bad. In all likelihood, it would not have mattered if they did; action meant change, putting Sesi between a rock and a hard place. She would simply have to weather the storm. Literally.

But until the skies broke, she would fight her sister. Desna readied herself to pounce and Sesi reared up in response, making the most hideous sound she could muster (it was adorable, for the record), ready to catch her sister's bulk and push back.

RE: battleaxe - RIP Valette - July 20, 2015

Desna's butt kept wiggling. She was going to pounce on Sees for sure. Her dark tail wagged too and then she moved forward, trying to jump her sister to calm her down. Desna let out a squeak trying to land on Sesi, but her sister had reared up at the right time and Desna crashed into Sesi's back paws. Desna was quick to get her sister off her and wanted to jump her again. Scarlett watched, finding it rather adorable that Desna was getting her sister Sesi to play.

Desna chomped down on Sesi's hind paw, though she didn't have that much teeth yet, so it wouldn't hurt too much. "Siwww! Yuuu!" She tried to calm her sister which was of course not helping if one was biting on the other's paw.

RE: battleaxe - Sesi - August 09, 2015

Desna flung herself forward, unafraid. Before Sesi could react, her attacker's gums had a vice grip on her ankle (a blatant exaggeration, but Sesi hated to be restrained - caught was caught). The paler sister yowled and flailed, toppling onto her back with Desna still attached. Her baby blue eyes caught sight of Scarlett's pale face hovering above them, smiling at the abuse that was going on at her feet. "MRRAAAA!" Sesi wailed, kicking her four fuzzy feeties as fast as she could, eyes squeezed shut against the danger.

RE: battleaxe - RIP Valette - August 09, 2015

Desna was so into her game of jumping Sesi that she didn't realize that her baby sis was scared. It wasn't until their mommy grabbed her by her scruff and pulled her off Sesi that Desna realized that she might have gone too far with playing with Sesi. Sesi wasn't Nanook or Xan she was much more tiny and sensitive. Dens let out a whine.

One she was put down she charged back at Sesi but now she didn't jump her sister but she stopped and started licking her face as saying sorry because she didn't want to be mean to her sister. Desna might be bossy but she wasn't mean. She disliked being mean.

RE: battleaxe - Sesi - August 10, 2015

Desna's patience and good heart would serve the sisters' relationship well in the coming years. She successfully placated her screaming sibling, whose furious kicking slowed and eventually stopped. Sesi squeezed her eyes shut and raised her paws to her face, spluttering - Desna's kisses were so sloppy! Successfully calmed but not distracted from her mission, Sesi re-engaged her sibling in battle - this time by booping her roughly in the face with both front feet.

RE: battleaxe - RIP Valette - August 10, 2015

Desna was a bit confused with Sesi's behavior sometimes, because after her make up kisses she was shoved away. The girl fell back on her butt and looked at her sister for a moment with her dark eyes. Her tail wagged though, wanting to make sure Sesi saw that Desna wasn't mad. She couldn't be mad at her little sis. Desna looked at Sesi and then jumped forward, deciding that Sesi maybe wanted to play with her.

She sank though her front paws and her tail wagged excitedly, asking if Sesi wanted to play with her. Play would be good for her.

RE: battleaxe - Sesi - August 27, 2015

Desna was not so easily dissuaded from play. She recovered quickly, sinking into a wobbly play-bough in front of her sister. Sesi got to her feet, inspecting the inviting stance with suspicious eyes. Eventually, she mirrored what Desna was doing, touching her elbows to the ground and raising her rump in the air - all slow, measured movements. It felt natural. Fun, even. Sesi's tail began to wag on its own accord, destabilizing the little pup - but for once, she didn't care. Her sour little face brightened. Am I doing it?

RE: battleaxe - RIP Valette - August 27, 2015

Desna was excited to see Sesi copy her playing stance. Desna was more than happy to show her how to jump around and have a game of tag. Maybe then Sesi would even copy her behavior and then she would be more outgoing! That was totally how she was going to solve this! The dark pup jumped from left to right to invite her into jumping after her. Desna had no idea how much of an important social role she was being for her sister. Desna just loved playing.

fade? :3

RE: battleaxe - Sesi - August 27, 2015

Yep!

For once, Sesi did not fight instinct. With Desna's gentle guidance, the cautious girl took part in her first ever play-fight that did not end in tears - much to her own (and probably Scarlett's) amazement and pride. The two girls tussled and yipped, rolling around in a tangled mess of fur only to spring apart again and start over. Eventually they would collapse, giggling and exhausted, in a fuzzy heap of joy. Their mother left them to snooze there, two happy babies with a successful day behind them.
