woah, square pizza?! - RIP Issun - March 22, 2016

Will I ever find a name that suits a thread? Most likely not. For @Rhiaonna and @Malice and/or @Sage (sorry this took to long to put up!) Set at the borders.

After meeting the possible recruit, the coal wolf took her back to their lands. It hadn't taken to long, for Moonlit was just a hop, skip, and a jump away.

When they arrived, Issun stopped by the borders, lifting his head to call for leadership.

short post is short.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Rhiannon - March 23, 2016

Rhiannon trotted a short distance behind him her eyes wondering aabout her surroundings, trying to take everything in. This place reminded her of home but yet it was also very different from the land she called home in many ways. She hoped that choosing a new pack had been a good idea, what if the Alpha was cruel and hard to get along with? Would she be able to back out and leave if this pack became too much for her?

A wolf howling broke the she-wolf out of her daze causing her to jump slightly in surprise. Looking toward the cause of the noise she realized it had been Issun signaling to the pack. She relaxed once more while slightly keeping her guard up.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Sage - March 23, 2016

It wasn't long until Sage showed up to Issun's call, she had been close by making the journey rather convenient. His howl hadn't seemed urgent, so she believed there was nothing to worry about. Perhaps he was searching for her just to speak again, but when arriving she noticed a white wolf at the border. For an odd reason her instinct was to growl, even with her being the more relaxed type. She concluded it was only because she had still been on her toes for Dark Brotherhood spying on them and saying rather rude comments. When spotting Issun she trotted to his side and gave him a slight nudge for no particular reason, just to know he was there. "You called?" She asked, looking back at the ivory colored fae, observing her for any scratches or interesting marks.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Malice - March 23, 2016

*Rolls in*

Moonlit Hills' borders were a busy place, where every now and then, a new loner showed up. Some with potential, like Silver. She had not been with them from the start, but she had been one of the first to be recruited after they had settled. She knew what they stood for, where she should be, and how she had to do her job. There had also been a few... less good, like the mother with her child. Malice had already forgotten both of their names, but she remembered how disrespectful they had been. Showing up at MH's borders with no idea of who you were and what you could do was something the queen despised. Not only that, the young brat also had the guts to talk back.

But rethinking old actions wasn't why she was trotting toward the borders again. It was a call from the young warrior that made her leave her warm den. The call was specifically for leadership, and she wondered why. Was someone challenging another member for a rank? She hoped so, as no one had yet done it. The call didn't sound urgent, but Malice couldn't help but to quicken her trot towards the sound.

She arrived after a few minutes, seeing the young fighter, the Beta of Moonlit, and yet another white loner. They had spots open for anyone to take, as long as they met Moonlit Hills' requirements. She approached them, calm and sophisticated, imitating her role model, Burke. Her tail was only a bit higher than Sage's, not braggy, but to get the point across to the new face. Sage was also a leader, a fine one indeed, but Malice would have the final words. She stopped next to Issun, giving him a look that said; why did you call? If the loner was seeking to join them, couldn't she have called herself? Was she too lazy, or perhaps mute? Whatever it was, The queen had to greet her members first. She touched Issun's shoulder with her muzzle, actually trying to sniff out where he had been, but also as a greeting. After that, she walked up to Sage, giving her the same greeting, but flashed a smile at her. It wasn't something she did regularly after having been 'divorced' but she felt like the young Beta deserved it.

Good morning, Sage, Issun. She said, speaking calmly after her smile had disappeared. And new face. Please, state your name and business here if you can speak. She asked, not knowing if the girl could say anything. Issun was the one who had called out in the first place, so perhaps he could explain the situation if she wasn't able to.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Rhiannon - March 23, 2016

Rhiannon had been watching  her surroundings for anything that would give her the slightest hint what this pack was about. Not finding anything of interest she turned her attention back towards Issun," Maybe I should have called, isn't that how it normally goes?" She asked him her head tilted slightly towards the side with curiosity, she herself was about to lift her head and howl. But the sound of approaching paws caused the female to stop herself from throwing in her own howl. Bi-colored eyes watched this new wolf with caution and curiosity, was this wolf the pack's Alpha?

She didn't  smell like an Alphess so peperhaps this one was second in charge, either way the ivory female lowered her head out of respect for the other wolf. Rhiannon didn't want any bad blood between her and a pack specially when she was a loner. Her mouth was slightly ajar as she started to introduce herself to the newcomer like she had with Issun when yet another set of paws came padding up to the trio. This wolf had the air of authority about her, so this was the pack's Alphess she had figured out. Rhiannon watched as the female as she approached Issun and nuzzled him before saying hello to the other wolf she had called Sage.

Then the eyes were on her causing her to move her weight from one paw to the other. Lowering her head out of respect for thIs wolf like she had done with the other one she again raised her head," My name is Rhiannon, Issun had me follow him after asking if I would like to have a home." Hoping that she hadn't already caused the pair to dislike her.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - RIP Issun - March 24, 2016

He shrugged his shoulders. "Heh, sorry. Instincts get to me." Yes, maybe she should have howled for authority instead, but Issun couldn't help himself.

He nodded as Sage came to the call. He returned the gesture by nudging her as well. Issun sat down, watching as Malice came over. The male decided to stay quiet to let Rhiannon do the talking.

Feel free to skip me!

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Sage - March 24, 2016

Just reminding everyone this is the new post order. Issun - Sage - Malice - Rhiannon

Sage was glad when her Alpha decided to join, feeling a wave of comfort when she was touched by both Issun and Malice. A reminder she had their support, even in simple situations as these. The shadowy female was fully aware how it could be difficult to join Moonlit, luckily she had been there for the beginning of it all, the evaluation seemingly a bit easier. Or maybe that was just because Moonlit had been so perfect for her that when being accepted it felt like a breeze, either way, they needed wolves to carry  their weight, not allowing someone to simply feed off them. Gradually, Moonlit was growing stronger and stronger and adding a sucker would do no good. She stayed silent, just as Issun had, and allowed Malice to take control.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Malice - March 25, 2016

Sorry, I'm terribly sick so I went to bed earlier than I planned. Welp, better late than never :)

The widow respected her members, thus they were free to add anything to this conversation. She was still just a bit new to being a leader, even if it ran in her blood. She had been beta in her former pack, but no-one ever showed up at their borders. They worked all on their own, all in control of Lucifer, Malice' father. They praised the devil for his doings, and most wolves were genuinely bad at heart. Malice had been one of them, she had the same darkness in her soul, but Teekon had changed her. She was slowly growing into a more open persona, one that listened and understood. Of course she had lots to learn, but that would come in time. For now, she was just doing the best she could to care for the ones she loved as family.

It seemed the other two moonlit wolves would let her do the talking, an honor, really. She just hoped they knew that decision making wasn't only for her though, and that they could ask wolves wanting to join anything. Speaking of the wolf who wanted to join, she had stated her name and the reason why she was here. It was a short answer, but she had answered what Malice had asked of her. So it was Issun that was now seeking for others to join, interesting. She rather liked her members doing things she hadn't asked, and this was one of them.

Rhiannon, She started, making sure to pronounce her name right. We are a pack that cares for each other like family. We fight to protect what is ours and we share our knowledge. If you truly want to be a Moonlit wolf, you will have to work for it. We don't want any slackers in the pack, and I hope you can pull your weight. She stated, keeping a serious tone, yet her gentleness found a way into her voice. With that said, can you please tell us what you are good in, and what trades you would like to acquire?

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Rhiannon - March 26, 2016

The female was quiet watching as Issun returned the nudge before stepping back letting their Alphess ddo the talking. She had started to get used to talking to Issun for he didn't really require her to say much in terms of conversation. But it was normal for the Alpha/ess to accept new members into the pack, she had watched her parents do it often. Returning her gaze back to Malice but really looking her directly in the eye, she really wasn't trying to get in a fight today.

"I'm not one to slack off, if something needs done then it is done. It's as simple as that." Rhiannon said without much thought but what she said was true, each member of her old pack had a duty and slacking off wasn't tolerated. Even the pups were taught their respected roles as soon as they were able to leave the den."I am good with plants and herbs and determine which one's are safe to consume and which ones would be great for poisoning. I was also wwent on the hunting trips along  with being sent out to hunt on my own often."

RE: woah, square pizza?! - RIP Issun - March 27, 2016

It was satisfying to hear Rhiannon was willing to get things done. Moonlit was a pack that needed attitudes she held; willing and able. With their numbers dwindling, the female was very useful.

He listened onto her words with great interest, most notably her herb traits. With Vertias having left Moonlit, they had no one that had this skill. They were definitely in need of a new healer, and he hoped that Malice felt the same way.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Sage - April 02, 2016

lololol sorry for the short post~ it's a phone post and I'm in sorta a rush to answer all these threads sooooo

Sage sat their quietly, not paying too much attention, but noting little things about the potential members.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Malice - April 03, 2016

Yeah, Malice is going to accept her because of her knowledge of medicine. As soon as this thread is archived, which could happen with 1 post from all of you, you'll be added to the ranks :) Welcome to Moonlit Hills! :D also, short post is short >_<

Malice listened and the words she heard sounded like honey. They needed a healer, badly, and what better healer to pick than one that didn't slack off. With Veritas gone, they had none that could heal the sick and injured. And heeeelll no, Malice wasn't going to be a weird witch with all those plants and stuff. Stars and the night sky intrigued her much more. Not saying she wasn't open for any information about the healer trade though.

Our healer has left us, therefore we are desperate for a new one. A hunter we could use also, so I guess you'd be a nice recruit for our pack. She said, a serious but gentle tone breaking the silence. Very well then. If there are no objections, I see no issue with letting you join us. Our former healer has left us a gift, God bless her soul, near the lake inside our territory. It's easy to spot. It's a Healer's Den, and I believe she even has left us some herbs. I guess there would be the place you will call home at night, as well as Phantom Hollow as a whole. She said, a side eye to her members. If they didn't want her in the pack, they were aloud to say so, and if they had valuable reasons for not wanting her, perhaps the queen would reconsider her thoughts.

If not, she would ask Rhiannon this: Shall I escort you to the lake then? While also giving a bow to both Issun and Sage as a goodbye. She was happy she didn't have to recruit members alone, for she found it an awfully dreading process. After, she would lead the new face to the stream and leave her there in the dark, spooky woods and return to the borders.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - Rhiannon - April 06, 2016

Sorry my phone didn't receive an email that everyone had replied. So sorry for the late reply. And thank you :)

Rhiannon was slightly concerned upon hearing that their healer had left, normally upon leaving or sudden death the healer always had an apprentice in training to take over for them. At least that's how things were done in her old pack, hopefully she could ask Malice in the future if it would be okay to seek out an apprentice.

"Thank you for allowing me to join the pack, you will not be disappointed or regret your choice." She said with a dip of her head and a slight wag to her tail, the thought of finally having a home after so long relieved her greatly so she was honest with her promise. Listening carefully she took in what Malice had said, and sighed in relief Rhiannon was glad to not have to build a den just for the pack's healing needs.

"That would be great so I can get accustomed to what herbs are here and take note of what I would need more of." She responded them turned to look at Issun nodding her head, later on once she was alone to her thoughts she would need to think of a way to repy him for helping her with finding her now home.

RE: woah, square pizza?! - RIP Issun - April 14, 2016

OH GOD I'M SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG!!! AVYUIBUAJOJ

He was happy to have a new healer in the ranks. Issun was sure that the snowy female would be a very good and useful addition to their ranks.

With the bow of Malice's head, Issun took it as permission to depart.

Short post so we can get this archived... oh god I'm sorry .-.
