clover crossing - Leatherface - March 26, 2014

@Velox

Though he didn't know it, it was the odd perfume of herbs that drew him to the area. This new life did not bring with it someone constantly over his shoulder to bark orders and command his time appropriately, Leatherface was simply expected to contribute to the pack and lacking most skills he did what came naturally; he followed his nose. Typically the trails he came across in the Vale were owned by unseen pack member, but he was likely (and most often did) dismiss if it interceded with the scent of game.

But this afternoon Leatherface had crossed the strange smell of root plants, and curiosity clouding the little problem-solving skills he did posses, he disregarded the previous creature's trail to peruse another. Muzzle barely a inch above the ground, his attention foolishly drew away from his surroundings. He did not wonder what it belong to, no theory sprang to mind. He was aware that as soon as he discovered the source, only then was he closer to knowing.

RE: clover crossing - Velox - April 09, 2014

Nataliiiiiieeeee *pounce* Sorry about the wait <3 (Also I'm assuming this is before el-avalancho.)

Velox was glad to be spending more and more time outside the confines of her den. Getting around had not yet regained its ease, but she was grateful that her leg was not broken nor any other bone in her body. Dawa and Zombie's medicinal ministrations had served the silvery wolf duly, and she no longer had headaches or a sharpness in her belly that suggested internal injury.

Her shoulder was presently lathered in one of Dawa's salves, fighting the inflammation of one of her larger cuts, but this was no longer needed across her body. For this she was glad, having always been somewhat of a well-preened peacock whose injuries marred her normally pristine appearance.

Her limp was lighter, but still quite a limp as she continued to favor the mending fracture in her hind leg. She was moving towards a darker figure whose russet and wood-burnished features became clearer as they moved closer to one another. He smelled faintly of the Vale—a newer addition than herself, though injury had kept her from socializing as much as she would've liked. His silver eyes, she only gazed at once. "Hello," she drew out kindly, happily, as she paused to greet him.
