RE: The Next Generation - Alder - October 20, 2016

The beast seemed truly quelled, but the King knew that she would never be the same again - he'd changed when he'd welcomed his first litter into the world, but it'd also fucked him up to lose every single one: these facts did not dampen his joy at the present, and if anything it made him even more happy to have another chance: one where not only he was older, but he had a more responsible mate and a support system better than a twin.

Aspen agreed with the method and the names he brought up, and also seemed to catch on to his wishes of more nature names - the little white one whoes pink skin made him worry of albinism, the heir to their throne, would be Rowan, and the other twin girl would be Tigerlily.

Hold on... These two were not twins like he and Emory were - these two were legit fucking twins. A stressed sigh fell from his lips, but it was accompanied with a grin that clearly said he was joking.

"So we have a runt and posible albino for an heir and two twins that I can't tell apart - god, Aspen, what are we going to DO?"

RE: The Next Generation - Aspen - October 20, 2016

Aspen chuckled as Alder brought up the fact that Rowan could possibly be an albino and at first Aspen was in denial but the possibility was real. Then he spoke of the twin girls who had no difference between them asking what they were going to do.

Aspen smiled and looked up at Alder. "I'll tell you what we are going to do Alder, we are going to hope that they have different personalities. We are also going to raise them like the great parents we are to be strong and respectable wolves. Sure the heir is a runt and possibly albino but that doesn't change a thing. He is still our son and he is still the rightful heir. Ain't nothing nobody can do about it," she stated flicking her tongue over his muzzle and letting out a soft laugh. Her life was changed forever with these four new bundles of joy that were her children. She couldn't be happier.

RE: The Next Generation - Alder - October 27, 2016

Happy as the King was, he was not sure he was as okay with Rowan's disability as his wife was - doubt creased his brow momentarily, but when Aspen started talking again he was happy to just listen.

In his heart, he knew that if he were smarter, he'd kill the child now - Rowan was a runt, a burden on his bigger, healthier siblings, and with Winter coming they should get all the milk they needed.... But he couldn't do it to Aspen. Unsure as he was of the tiny squirt taking his place as King one day, he nodded to Aspen, agreeing to keep her happy. He would love the boy, if he survived, for it was still a being of his very jewels that Aspen had strived to grow and birth.

Silent but smiling, Alder nuzzled his pale wife back, running his tongue along the backs of all four children next - he was gentle, barely touching them, and perhaps he skipped out on Rowan halfway through, but he truly did love his children.

RE: The Next Generation - Aspen - November 02, 2016

Aspen yawned as Alder returned her nuzzle and then ran his muzzle over their sons and daughters. Aspen smiled but she let her head fall and lay on the stone floor of their den. The days events were finally taking a hold of her and she felt a significant lack of energy. She sighed and gave Alder one last look before dozing off into the land of sleep.

She wasn't overly worried about her children right now, Alder was their father and she doubted he had any intent to harm them. Though she remained forever alert, ears listening for their crys or the presence of other wolves.
