Pineapple Apple Pen! - Judas - November 16, 2016

Anyone is welcome, though tagging @Aeronwyn

Judas didn't want to. He didn't want to go exploring for someone else in this pack. But if this pack was going to help him, he had to meet the members. Just to know them by name, at least. So he sought at someone, staying away from the center as he thought that would be where the pups he wasn't supposed to be near would be.

There he sat, around the border. Waiting for someone to come along. As he did, all he could hear was the wind and the voice he tried so desperately to block out.

She stalked the borders in silence, of half a mind to find Nico yet determined first to finish this task. The latest encounter with the the Glade woman had put her on edge, and though the woman had been in their hunting grounds and the attack had been justified, in her opinion, she was concerned over just how much of the atack had been driven by anger. A larger portion than she would admit.

she was distracted by her thoughts by the looming figure of another. She approached with a confident stalk, eyes on him, relaxing in the slightest as she recognized the scents of a pack ate she had yet to meet. Her gaze was a questioning demand, simply implying he explain himself.

Judas saw movement, as he was looking in the territory. A wolf made their approach, their look questioning. But he made no greeting right away. He had no idea of this wolf's rank. So instead he looked them over, moving his head side to side. After finishing, he went to greeting. "Judas. And you are?" he asked, keeping himself seated. Burke nor Malice had made no comment about this member. All he knew was the one pup he saw, Malice and Burke.

He introduced himself quite simply as Judas, and she regard him a moment longer before introducing herself. "Aeronwyn, Warlord." She said cooly, yet not unkindly. She was the third highest ranking in the pack, below Malice and Burke, yet she rarely, if ever, pulled rank. This encounter would be not different, as she moved to another topic.

"Judas. Have your trade in mind?" Should he wish to be a mercenary, her rank dictate that she teach him, and she had no problem with it as long as he was of an even temperament.

Judas raised eyebrows at the position she had. It certainly perked a lot of interest in his other side. But he made no comment. Although he did make note not to annoy her, as he guessed she hadn't earned that title just out of luck, but skill as well.

He answered her question without a pause of hesitation. "I know much of herbs and poisons." He did not voice his skill in scouting, as the last time he did that was the thing that started this whole mess he was in. Although he did want something else to do. Herbs were a painful memory of his past. Poisons, Pyx. All of it. But what else could he be good at? Hunting? Certainly not fighting. In his mind, the hunting seemed like a good opportunity to try and learn something else. "I may, or may not, take up a chance at hunting" he said with a shrug.

Huh. Poisons. That interested her, though she did not show it. His lack of interest in fighting was understandable,  for the art did not interest everyone. Hunting was a skill all knew, yet few excelled at, and a pack was always in need of those proficient in the trade. "Those are good choices. A proficient hunter is always a necessity to a pack" she said idly, watching him neutrally.

"Indeed. Can't eat if there's no one who can hunt, can we?" he said, chuckling at his own attempt at a light-hearted joke. "So, Aeronwyn? How long have you been here?" He was interested in her title, but saved that for a later question, if he got the chance to ask it. plus, he wondered how long she knew Malice for.

A rare grin touched her muzzle as he spoke, egaze light with mirth. His next question, she found, took her a moment to ponder, and when she did answer she herself was surprised. "six. months." she said, though her thoughts were one of awe. Seasons passed as they always did, and she had paid the time no mind, but now as she did, she was surprised. Six long months, as Warlord, students who, mostly, vanished, and her tiny, odd family.
