two-thousand miles and one left turn - Dagfinn - December 20, 2016

It'd taken him only a day-and-a-half to reach the edges of Easthollow; he'd been able to spot the ridges next to them from his mountain, and from there, he'd kept up a steady jog. Something like excitment had been welling up in him ever since the start of his journey, but now that he was standing at the borders, he couldn't bring himself to call for either of his 'friends'.

He stood frozen for a long, endless moment, looking into the snowy field that Amber and Grayday called home. The pups were almost certainly born right now, but Dag wondered... had any survived? Could they somehow have been his, despite everyone's knowledge and certainty? He decided that he would not know until he saw them, until he looked on them with his own eyes. Only then would he know.

"@Amber," he chuffed, calling into the territory and hoping she was near enough to hear. He did not feel like running into any strangers, and more than that, he did not feel like running into Grayday. But, after a moment, he remembered his manners, and preparing himself, he called for @Steady as well, knowing that the alpha would want to know who was around his lands.

RE: two-thousand miles and one left turn - Amber - December 21, 2016

Much as she'd been thinking about Dagfinn, she never thought she'd hear his voice calling from the border -- it was faint, but she heard it nonetheless, and since Grayday wasn't in view she mumbled to @Dawn and @Sunny to either stay close to her or stay in the den. It was too cold for them to be wandering alone, but at least if they were with her she could hold them close and keep them warm. Her strides were slow and short in case either decided to follow to meet the man with whom they partially shared a last name with, but a grin was spread across her maw before she'd even come into sight of him.

                   "Dagfinn!"

When he did, the ebony Ciel called out to him in joy, whining and bolting the last couple of yards to fling herself at him -- most definatley not pregnant, despite her normally chubby fame -- her tail wagged madly and she aimed to cover whatever part of the smoky man she could reach with frantic licks accompanied by sniffles to take in his scent.

RE: two-thousand miles and one left turn - Sunny - December 22, 2016

Sunny chose to follow Amber with clumsy and awkward steps. He seemed to be getting stronger and better at walking almost every day. Following his mother outside he stepped in the snow and shrieked. What in the hell was that?! He licked at the ground in confusion, snorting and sneezing when the substance burned his tongue and then disappeared leaving water where it had been. "mamamama!" he called out finally noticing the absence of the large black comforting figure by his side. He walked through the snow, until he reached a deep spot only a few feet away from his mother and the strange man and tried to jump over it, landing in it and sinking down in only a few seconds.

He squirmed and managed to roll out of the pile of cold, wet white fluff and stubbornly walked over to where his mother was attacking the male (or so he thought). Not knowing the male, and thinking his momma was attacking he growled the same high pitched pathetic noise he always managed and raised his tail facing the male with narrowed reddish eyes.

Almost as soon as the dark woman appeared, Dag realized that he didn't want to see her. Especially not with that greyish fleck following at her heels. It was abundantly clear that the child was not his, and all at once, any affection he'd retained for Amber seemed to shatter, and only the remembered bitterness of her betrayal remained.

Without another thought, Dag turned tail and ran, not stopping until he was too tired to carry on. He'd rest for a night and then make his way quickly back to the Vale.

RE: two-thousand miles and one left turn - Sunny - December 27, 2016

Raven-Marie has been banned apparently, so we have been given the right to PP her. I guess i'll just make it how i think she'd react and i'll finish this up and archive it i suppose since Dag left...

Sunny yapped triumphantly as he won the "Battle" and the male turned tail and ran for his life. Satisfied he giggled and turned to his momma, who seemed sad for some reason. he approached her and pressed his head against her fur, trying to comfort her. "Mamama..." he said softly under his breath and wrapped his mouth around her leg, gently tugging her back toward the den. Whatever the male did to hurt her and make her this way, he would fix it. They walked back toward the den and he proceeded to lick at his mothers jaw, both for comfort and to see if she could retch up some more of the odd tasting food stuffs she had been feeding him lately. He missed the milk, but had to admit that this food tasted okay to him.
