The Wandering of the Soul - Shalon - February 01, 2017

She wasn't entirely sure why she had been lead to the sea. The silver and tanned woman hadn't even known that there was a sea on this side to the Wilds. She had only ever known the Glade. But she was glad to find it. Indeed it broke the consistency of the forest, and gave Shalon hope that perhaps her life would take  a different turn than what it had become. She couldn't stand the thought that perhaps her life would return to the wandering she had known before the Court. The lonely existence that had been her life, was not worth living. She had found her calling in the Royal Fire Court, her calling of counsel and advise. She wasn't much of a talker herself, but she enjoyed listening to others. Hearing their problems and offering whatever words she deemed appropriate to aide them and their issue.

Although now she found that she wished for her sisters voice, she desired more than anything to hear the calming sound of another who would aide her with her own problems. Something Shalon had never once wished for before. With a firm sigh she dropped along the sand, enjoying the softness along her side as she peered out across the water. Her silver orbs watching the water lap the earth with its tender waves. She was oblivious to the world around her, a dangerous prospect for a lone wolf. But it mattered not to Shalon. Not now anyway.

come one, come all!

RE: The Wandering of the Soul - Birk - February 04, 2017

It took Birk few days to find his way back to the shores and therefore closer to the paths that led down to the right South. And in those few days he realized that the storm and the freezing temperatures had not left him quite as unharmed as he had initially believed. The skin around his eartips had become swollen and painful - the itch and the resulting scratching did not help. A toe or two felt weird, and the tip of his tail had the same itchy problem and, where he had licked and gnawed, now were a patch of a discolored brownish fur and a raw ulcer. He had got frostbites - it was not the first time, but certainly the worst.

Therefore he had decided to seek out the one healer he knew around here and, who he remembered by name too - Raven. And the fact that he was on the right path made him a little more cheerful - a little too much, because he missed the turn he had to take to move down to Kintla flatlands and therefore continued along the shore. He would have walked a long way in the wrong direction had he not spotted a lying wolf-figure further off and decided to approach it. "Hey-ho!" he called out to it. "You ain't dead are you?"

It did not answer right away and Birk felt a tad bit too uneasy to continue his approach. Therefore after lingering on the spot for few undecided minutes, he turned around and went away, leaving the stranger in peace.
