RE: Hunt for who we've not yet become - Sylvas Streiter - May 28, 2017

Sylvas didn't quite understand his son's request at first either, his golden eyes looking to Grayday, noticing that he, too, was somewhat confused, though regardless, agreed on the idea. But as the mercenary turned to look back at the boy, his ears slicked against his head for a moment, the male's light pink tongue escaping his mouth before his words fell from his lips, ”We'll only bury a bit though.” He smiled some, tail giving a gentle sway behind him as he reminded the young male, ”We still have mouths to feed all around.” He said as he stepped forward, extending his neck some to give Kieran an affectionate nudge to his shoulder.

Brunette ears flicked upright as Grayday spoke, golden eyes looking to the silver male and slowly back to his son. Sylvas didn't mind, for in truth, he was curious about this himself, but the father remained silent, allowing @Kieran Adrien to reply, himself, to the older male's question.

When his father gave him the go ahead, Kieran smiled. He was glad that Sylvas let him bury some food for his deceased mother - after all, it was his own little tradition at the moment. He was sure Eden would like to have some of his first kill. Would she be proud of him?

"Thank you!" He barked, glancing down at the lifeless body of the turkey. "Okay... only a bit." the boy agreed, promising to not bury too much. After all, the others would indeed need some too.

"Yeah, you can come too," Kieran smiled at the man, silently hoping he would not find fault with his little ritual-thing. With words said, the young hunter turned and glanced at the hill that seemed not too far away. That was his usual spot. "Can we do it up there?" He asked, again hoping that they would let him. He wanted to bury it on a high point, right in the path of the sun, so that his mother would find it easily.

RE: Hunt for who we've not yet become - Grayday Sr. - June 03, 2017

Day smiled when Kieran agreed to let him come along. The kid was a joy to be around, and truthfully, Day thought he might be able to excuse it if he wanted to give a whole bird to his dead mother every once in a while. It seemed a small price to pay for such a sweet kid. Hmm, he thought, pausing a moment - could animal sacrifice be the way to more well-adjusted children?

But that was rumination for another time.

"Lead the way," he offered, not really caring where they did this. He just wanted to see what the kid was all about.

The male looked down at Kieran as he agreed to bury only a small amount for his mother and slowly the mercenary turned his attention to Grayday, a small smile forming across his muzzle as brown ears twitched at the sound of their conversing voices. His amber eyes shimmered as Sylvas turned his gaze to look at his son once more, ears swivelling some as his stare then peered to the location the boy had pointed out, ”Sure, we can go and do this wherever you want.” He said softly, tail giving a gentle wag behind him as he now waited quietly for them to begin moving, curious to see how this ritual would go exactly.
