Hemlock had parted from @Sirius early that morning, content to leave him with the rest of the puppies playing at the rendezvous site. It was hard sometimes, to leave the boy, but she could not smother him. That was unfair as well. Hemlock made a pass by the King Sequoia before she headed towards the borders. She had not made it very far when a foreign scent caught her nose. With a low growl she realized it was much closer than she cared, even possibly over their borders. 

The red wolf took off in a sprint, headed directly towards the male who had crossed into their lands. He seemed thin, clearly had been on the run for awhile, and without hesitation threw her head up to call out for any of her nearby pack mates. Hopefully someone would be close enough - she knew that @Jhala and @Reek both had stronger backgrounds as mercenaries and that @Arturo and @Chusi were just as likely to get involved. 

She couldn't remember if Lotte had been with the cubs, or maybe @August - still, she wasn't keen on any of the younger pups joining the fight.
