Bʀᴇᴀᴛʜᴇᴅ sᴏ ᴅᴇᴇᴘ I ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ I'ᴅ ᴅʀᴏᴡɴ - Cassiopeia - September 24, 2017

She inched out of the entrance, carefully making every effort to be absolutely silent. She does not doubt Vaati's pronouncement and knows that if she looks as if she looks the part of the fleeing fugitive, she will be treated as such. The trees here are thick; they hardly let any of the sunlight through. Darkness has been all around her for a few days, now, and while she's become accustomed to it, by no means has she found it to her taste. She is careful; every sound has her ready to move back to the cave, and she stays near. But she is hungry, hungry enough to see what food she can find at the mouth of the cave. Luck is with her; a rat feasts ravenously on the sad remains of the deer haunch Vaati served to her - a day ago? two? - , oblivious to her presence. She launches herself at the rodent, and it gives shrill scream as it dies between her jaws. She eats the thing quickly, only once she finishes remembering the other woman in the cave, and looking into its depths guiltily. Shame swirling in her gut, she focuses again on the catch, crunching the bones and the ravenged hide, focused on the scant meal.
@Ganondorf, perhaps? AW though!

RE: Bʀᴇᴀᴛʜᴇᴅ sᴏ ᴅᴇᴇᴘ I ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ I'ᴅ ᴅʀᴏᴡɴ - The Wispmother - September 28, 2017

Kotake hovered nearby, watching as the girl hunted and successfully captured a rodent. The Melonii makes no move to stop her, she simply watches from afar. Once the girl is finished, the inky she-wolf comes into view to be seen. Kotake says nothing as she reclines onto her haunches to look at the other girl. This was not her prisoner, and so Kotake could not free her. She did not desire to do so, either. Unlike her brothers Kotake did not get her pleasure from pain, or even inflicting it. Kotake lived for nothing, truly, but her family—and she thought of Vaati with his marred visage. She thought of those that had harmed him. There was a fire that burned blue within, its flames flashing within her eyes as she stared at Cassiopeia. It was only her awareness that it was not the girls doing that prevented her from moving to throttle her in her rage, but even that, in this moment, ebbed away from her awareness.

She sank onto her haunches and simply stared at the other. She blinked slowly, and asked, truly curious, do you ever wish to return home? Once she had thought the other captive had desired to, but it seemed she had not. And this one, well, she imagined this one would become fixated with one of her brothers. She looked to be the impressionable sort—a girl who would fall in love with her captor, a girl who would never want to leave them when enough time passed. It was an amusing thought, and she very nearly smiled then as it came to her—but she swallowed the bubbling feeling that welled in her throat, and remained aloof in appearance.
