the subject is missing - Dune - January 17, 2018
Weather: 27°F, Overcast.
It was cold and cloudy, but not so cold that Dune's thick winter coat was failing to keep him warm. Large white paws made soft noises against the packed snow beneath his feet. The cold to the north had forced him south, away from his birthplace, and now he had come here. The trees provided some shelter from the light wind that blew snow around him, but it continued to ruffle his fur now and again.
He paused, catching the scent of something in the air. He was fairly certain it was deer scat, and he pivoted to go toward it, nose to the ground.
