Perhaps the season had led him to be more brutal in his decision making, or perhaps the young woman had simply been too elusive during her trial time among the Morningside wolves. Either way, Grayday was not impressed, and had decided that @Kaevo just hadn't made the cut. They were on their way out of winter, and he felt the dark shewolf would have plenty other prospects before her situation got too dire. Perhaps being ejected from one pack would teach her to cherish her next one.
It wasn't really his problem anymore.
He approached her that night after searching for over an hour, reluctant to howl for her and call attention to the situation. "It's time for you to go," he said firmly. "I'll see you to the borders."
