dilaudid - Ariel - March 23, 2018

@Kota but all welcome!

a peaceable silence has fallen over them and delight can't decide if it's celebratory or anxiety-inducing. he'd braced himself for the inevitability of wolves flipping between his fingers during the move and yet it stings all the same. anatha'd been someone he cared for. the other who didn't make it, fallyn -- well, he'd not ever gotten a chance to really meet her, so her absence feels more natural to him.

with queenie and kratha's security-offering presence, delight has largely abandoned his old habit of border patrolling -- it's just not really his scene. instead he spends his time exploring every inch of the vale, settling himself today by a hesitant pond, its fragile spring blooms nervously poking through the frost.

The male had been walking around the new territory, familiarizing himself with the landscape. He began to become one with nature which surrounded him now. During his walk, he noticed a familiar face. "Hello!" Kota called out in greeting with a flick of his tail.

a familiar voice breaks his meditative thoughts -- but it is not an unwelcome one. he turns toward kota, nodding in greeting. the storyteller-boy is one he does not know very well beyond their shared pechance for narrative, but he has stuck with them and delight appreciates that. "sup," the morwinyon says, "settling in okay?"

Kota went further near him. "How is everything?." He hadnt been able to speak with him during the move. He was curious to what his pack members are feeling for some reason.

his own question goes unanswered, but delight doesn't press it. he looks fine enough, anyway. "alright," the androgyne replies, shrugging. "glad mostly everyone stuck with us, glad it's quiet enough," he adds, offering a wry smile.
