my flat-line inhibition is my ammunition - Prince - April 20, 2018

Looking for a trade thread <3
also have been referencing a (healed/no longer visible) eye injury that technically hasn't occurred in the thread yet but was agreed upon, in case of any confusion!
Prince still spent much of his time patrolling the borders, even after hearing that Arrille had fled the Sound. The possibility of conflict had him on high alert-- though he had not quite ended his isolation, he felt no less fiercely protective of his home, his packmates. Perhaps he should have been more social, though. It did sting slightly that he had no one-- no one, he realized, quite literally.
He paced the southern border impatiently, tail flicking. It almost felt like he was waiting for something to happen. Well, maybe he was. Something in his typical posture had become more tense, conflict-ready since he had lost most of the vision in his eye; he was more aware than ever, now. Prince remembered, then, to check his eye again. He came to a stop and closed the undamaged eye, subconsciously holding his breath-- perhaps it was stupid to still hope for some improvement, as it had surely been too long, but he didn't care.
The boy sighed after a beat and opened his eye again. Still nothing but shadows. That would likely never change.

RE: my flat-line inhibition is my ammunition - Dio - April 25, 2018

On route, and making good time, nothing obtuse had caught his eye yet today but many hours still lie ahead. He'd been putting his paws to the miles lately, only amplified by the brand new presence of puppies--both newly arrived, and those potentially yet to come. Matched on top of shady neighbors and his yearling son gone full rogue (although without any sign of him in a good while), the gold-furred wocha had tightened the defenses for all his worth.

In passing, he was often not the only one out, and today's path rounded him out to Prince--it seemed, so said the scents first of all. When eventually he could spot another's motion up ahead, he lifted his nose from over the grounds then leveled a questioning squint that way--namely looking to suss out what he was up to (pacing?), beyond the likelihood of simply patrolling too and confirming what he suspected. Not even questioning it any more than that, Dio set to jogging over closer. His intentions, mainly, to check in and see if anything was going on while he was in the area anyway. "Hei," he greeted alongside a low chuff and his tail tall, with a slow sway about it.
