I'm gonna run this nothing town - Nemisis - July 01, 2020

@Abaddon
@Death

Desolation. As she explored the southern reaches of what would someday be her domain, barring the already established packs- she would allow Donovan to handle diplomatic relationships- she stumbled upon a blight of the landscape. Fire's touch was much more obvious here than the prairie she had encountered Hela. The heat of the high summer sun made the Ashen woods smell stronger, charcoal trees threatening ominously to ignite again. Skeletal remains, charred and mummified, dotted the blackened landscape, and plumes of dust stirred behind her pawsteps. Her shoulder was almost completely healed, an unsighly scar mostly hidden by the crook of her neck.
Her evaluation of the domain was cursury- there was little here of interest to her. So she continued forward, searching, for more Allies, for more territory, more power.

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Abaddon - July 03, 2020

It was almost nice to have a new companion who followed him now, someone to talk to on those longer tracks, to talk to when things absurd would happen and bond over something instead of just a meet and greet jus for things to return to their mundane everyday schlock. For this reason, when the healing woman stepped out into view, Abaddon smoothly placed himself just a little ahead of the whelp to put himself in the forefront of the woman's view and not the smaller boy at his side.

A wounded partner in travels was boring and an anchor to the adventures than a healthy one who can walk freely on their own, especially someone so young still. He had no intention in speaking with the woman today, but even less so did he want to change their current path just to avoid her.

Curiosity piqued her as she spied the ghostly male. He was stunning, and at least appeared to be a pure wolf. She moved towards him, a sway in her hips and emerald eyes locked on his lean frame.
"Well...hello there, handsome." Her voice a purr, smirking maw with a smile that never quite met eyes that were cold and calculating. Her face fell when the runt toddled into view. She despised children. But... perhaps she could use this to her advantage.
"Not exactly the safest place to bring a..... child." Runt. Worm. Parasite. Baggage. Waste of space. She kept those particular thoughts to herself for now. "I'm sorry...look at me forgetting myself. Nemisis, and you?"

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Death - July 04, 2020

He hobbled along, looking back now and again to see if anyone was following. He had the gnawing feeling that someone would eventually notice his absence back "home", and would come to track him and Abaddon down. He would hate for his big brother to get in trouble because of him - not that he could or would do much about it if it did happen. Upon noticing no one was behind them, every time he looked, he felt a bit... offended. Did he truly mean so little that they would not even come looking for him? What a bunch of rabbit droppings.

He looked to Abaddon, then to the woman they were going to run into. She seemed... off. Her muted, yellow eyes were caressing his brother in ways he didn't like, and she looked at him as if he was a pile of shit she only narrowly avoided. My name is Almight. He made very clear upon being referred to as only "child". He pulled up his nose then, taking a seat near his brother's hind leg and bumping his head against it in a moping fashion.

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Abaddon - July 05, 2020

She spoke to him in loving words, enough so to bring a smile to his sharp face as she approaches and looks at him with such hungry eyes. Immediately the woman points out that it wasn't safe for the boy to be out there, and Abaddon couldn't help but ponder that.. what about any of this was any safer than the Nightwalkers border? Did the woman think of herself to be dangerous or something? How intriguing he thought to himself, from here on, he would be careful to watch this interaction.

Death was quick to introduce himself first and Abaddon offered a smile, a different one than the sly mischievous one he had given the woman, this one was full of pride. A false pride, to bolster the boy's confidence in himself and in his brother's desire to "take care of him". Pulling aside just enough so that "Almight" was able to somewhat be a part of this than to hide behind the specter, encouraging him to not put himself down and instead demand attention.

Abaddon, and I assure you, he is quite safe with me. He cooes dangerously back at the woman, his vocals as smooth as tar and just as deadly. What kind of game did this one want to play today?

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Nemisis - July 06, 2020

The little rat spoke first, declaring himself "Almight."
"That's lovely." She gritted out, trying to subdue her instinct to fling the little pest as far away as possible. Instead she redirected her attention to the male, who, unless the pup took after his mother, was certainly no relation.
He names himself and she almost quivers with the power of it. "Now that's a name. Hello, Abbadon." She purrs, arching her neck to display her own musculature a bit better. The wind shifted and swirled around her, carrying her perfume along itself towards the pair.
"Oh goodness, I wasn't insinuating that. I'm sure you take wonderful care of him...is he yours? I was only suggesting that...well a pup Should be in a den..." Where it can be seen and not heard, She almost added.

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Death - July 13, 2020

He shot an ugly glare at the woman. How dare she make fun of him, calling him pup and insinuating his name was less than his brother's? Sure, his brother was handsome, tall, strong and everything Death wasn't just yet - but still! Could he get some respect here? Otherwise he'd crank up his moodiness by 11 and leave them both to deal with the aftermath.

And bitches like you should be at the bottom of a lake, but you don't see me bringing that up... He muttered angrily under his breath, perhaps just loud enough for someone to take notice of it and respond accordingly. Wondering where he had learned such a dirty word? You'd be surprised how much Nightwalkers cursed when they believed nobody was listening - but small pots had big ears.

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Abaddon - July 17, 2020

That's a name, she says. He almost found it humourous. Well, it was a pattern in his family from the looks of it, more so on his father's side than anything else. Sure, he supposed it was that, a name, and nothing more. The woman showed herself off, muscular for a female, he would admit that. She was flirtatious despite the amount of scent wafting off of her, was this what she did normally or was she thirsty from a lack of bigger fish in her pond he wondered.

He is my brother. The specter almost corrects in a smooth manner, unbothered even though his skin almost crawled at the thought of having his own children just yet. Especially ones he would carry around like this. That would be their mother's job after all - unless they were okay with him using them the way Abaddon was using his bother lately as a companion, and thrown away when bored. Perhaps fatherhood would do him well, after all, little meat shields that would do as he said just because he made them. Boy that made him internally chuckle.

Death was quick to respond in turn, telling the woman exactly what was on his mind and Abaddon could barely contain himself, he was beside himself at this moment with just how blunt the boy was! Entertaining indeed! Bitting down a smile, he shrugged and continued to speak as if nothing, even though he was excited to see how she herself would react. We don't have a den, he is motherless, I found him and took him under my wing. It was surprising to find out we have the same father. So... what are you here for other than to insult my younger brother?

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Nemisis - July 18, 2020

Not related then. Her wheels turn faster, and she stills a bit, a pause in her flirting and flouncing.
He inquires about her purpose and that's when she notices it- the hollow, hungry look in his eye.
The metallic scent that comes off his pelt.
An eyebrow quirks at the realization- he is Bloodbourne. Perhaps not directly of her pack, but the thirst is there, all the same.
"I meant no disrespect. I was hunting, both for prey, and for other wolves. Not that much here suits my...appatite..." Good grief Nem, drop those hints any harder and your words would be lead weights.
"I have a pack nearby I'm trying to build members for. And you, dear, are easy on the eyes. As well as a pure wolf, and I suspect we may have a thing or two else in common."
She had never addressed another member of her kind before, outside of her pack where it was known of their peculiar urges.

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Death - July 19, 2020

They were most certainly related - and they were a package deal! Unlike Abaddon, who planned to get rid of him as soon as he wasn't entertaining enough anymore - Death, erhh, Almight was ready to stick with his older brother through thicc and thin. He was the last remnant of family he had left, and despite not caring much about, well, anything, he cared about his brother. They were words that remained unspoken, would probably forever stay that way, but it was the truth.

Death sighed an obnoxiously loud sigh, throwing his head back in exaggerated exhaustion. He got up from his safe spot near his brother's hind legs and marched, without fear, towards where the conversation was happening instead of keeping to the back lines. 'No disrespect' his ass. He'd just about heard enough. No thanks, lady. Get your twisted-looking ass out of here and we'll be on our way, 'kay? He didn't care what his brother thought of the woman's proposal, but there was no way in hell he'd return to some violence-worshiping cult-like shit hole of a pack - especially not with that woman!

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Abaddon - July 21, 2020

The kid had spunk, Abaddon liked that. From a dull two worded boy who was barely alive when he met him (soul wise), to this kid who was vulgar and full of attitude. The vampire liked that, in fact, he was almost proud of this kid, to see him taking no shit from anyone. They were loners after all, and in neutral lands, they had no lord to hang over them, no ranks to be pushed around. It seems insults were made. He continued with the same bemused tone he had from before.

Tossing his head over to give Death a look, not one of disappointment, more so to hush the boy for now. His desires were well heard, understood, but the older of the pair wanted to learn more about this woman. get to know more individuals. Perhaps she was of use to them, and if not, she could be easily tossed aside.

And what is your appetite for? What are you hunting wolves for? She wanted to flirt, and so he would simply flirt too. Keep her in a good mood you know? Letting his eyes thirstily wash over her in a no holds bar to reassure her he was interested enough.

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Nemisis - July 21, 2020

It seems insults were made.
She smirks at the tone in the man's voice. He seems to have just as much tolerance as she likely would, merely humoring and placating the brat until he outlived his usefulness, or at least, became more useful than a whining, clumbsy preteen.
And then he asks it. The million dollar question. What was she hunting for.
His eyes rake over her figure and she proceeds to phase 2.
"I'm putting together a little family in Redsand Canyon. Away from the prim and frilliness of most of the packs around that seem to have their noses stuck in the air most of the time.
But I also am afflicted with a certain craving. Since I was a pup I've taken the blood of others, and on occasion, consumed their flesh."
She says this matter-of-factly, as though merely describing a type of flower she happens to be fond of.

RE: I'm gonna run this nothing town - Death - July 21, 2020

The boy scowled at his brother then, dismissing his grievances in that awful flirty tone. Who was he trying to seduce? This woman already sounded pretty DTF-y, why bounce around it? He'd close his eyes if it made the two uncomfortable! Maybe peek here and there for some pointers for whenever he was a handsome stud cause, let's be real here, he was gonna be one. Well, not if he kept making that face, Jezus H. Christ.

His pupils restricted when the woman explained her fucked-up "hobbies", leaning towards his brother to whisper; There is something wrong with this woman. And they needed to get out of here. No matter how sexy his bro might think this woman was - Almight himself was gunning for someone a bit younger - she was gonna eat their flesh and leave them in a ditch somewhere. He wasn't ready to die a death that lame! And if Aba wanted to get his dick wet for it, so be it, but don't drag him into it!

He stretched out his back then, casually, positioning his feet away should push come to shove. Just say you're a crazy cannibal at that point - no beating around the bush. He commented cockily. Seeing as I'm clearly not as mental as you two, 'imma go and get myself a real meal. Y'know, got a real craving for the normal kind of flesh. He wiggled his snout with a wide, mocking grin before he simply padded off. Aba could do whatever he wanted, Death wasn't the boss of him, but he was not gonna hang around and end up in a trio.
