Time Alone - Kesuk - September 27, 2014

@Shadow :)

Kesuk walked along the shore of the lake, her paws skimming the round rocks. The light mist that hung in the air clung to her dark fur like spider webs. The ominous clouds sat low in the sky, promising a heavy rain.

She had come here to get away from everything at home. Along the lake shore it was quiet. Peaceful. Something she was not used to. Her journey here had taken 2 days and the sun was low on her third.

Kesuk's icy crystal eyes scanned the banks and surrounding forest, hoping to find a place to take cover when the rain hit. The trees were dark and bushy but if there was wind, would offer no shelter. She continued her walk along the small lake, kicking her speed up a notch in order to find a sleeping place before dark. Her mind wandered to similar times, when she had been all alone, no shelter and no home. The only difference was this was for fun, she had a place to get back to.

She let out a content sigh at the thought of her pack back home. It was a good place, but sometimes everyone needs some time off.

The wind started to howl, spitting water from the lake at her. Kesuk squinted her eyes and ran to the trees, hoping for the best.

RE: Time Alone - Shadow - September 27, 2014

The silver Praetor had been exploring once again, well not really exploring, just traveling, something that he did often when he was at the Creek and he did less when he was at the Bypass for he was now the leader of a pack and his duties kept him from traveling too often. Although they didn't manage to stop him entirely, exploring was in his veins, especially the sea. Even though most Romans hated the churning waves, he thought it was perhaps the blood of Neptune that descended through his bloodline. The bloodline that carried the blood of the three powerful brothers.

And then it started, Jupiter was angry but for what? What had he done wrong to anger the king, the Optimus Maximus? Why was his king sending this here? Brows furrowed as he trudged into the forest for cover, wondering why his ancestor was sending the storm. Was it to remind him of something? Tell him he was doing something wrong? Could he have sent in an easier method instead of riddles?

He did not notice another wolf running to the forest too, only lost in his thoughts, expression indifferent.

RE: Time Alone - Kesuk - September 27, 2014

Kesuk ran at full speed through the woods, her head down in to protect her face. The trees blurred as she sprinted past them. She lifted her head up just in time to see a large silver mound collide with her.

She was knocked back onto the ground from the contact. Sitting there, stunned she turned to the culprit.

RE: Time Alone - Shadow - September 29, 2014

A brown blur crashed into him and fell on the ground, he himself had not moved, the impact only startling him, not doing any lasting damage. As if this child could do him any damage anyways. A small smirk crossed the silver wolf's face as the storm continued, he was not afraid for he knew the dies pater would not harm him. Eyes bright, cold and harsh glanced lazily down at the yearling and canting his head slightly. "What do we have here?" he drawled, this was exactly why he had no friends, because he was an annoying little piece of dipshit and he knew it. Occasionally he found wolves that managed to briefly crack through his touch shell, Danica, Cadfael to name a few.

A dark past lay within the silver male, one that only his siblings knew and those who had raised him up. And Paarthurnax. Cadfael knew too but the Praetor did not know that the welsh warrior had also came to Teekon Wilds did he? He radiated an aura of strength and power but also a deep anger, sadness and resentment.

RE: Time Alone - Kesuk - September 29, 2014

Kesuk shook herself off and stood up, taking a stance that didn't portray either dominance or submissiveness. She studdied the silver male in from of her, sizing him up. She knew right away she would lose if it came to a fight. Her body shape was lean and limber, great for speed in agility but lacking power.

The silvery wolf was arrogant. She could tell by the way he held himself and the way he spoke. Kesuk lifted her head slightly at his tone of voice.

"I could say the same for you." She countered with an even voice, a slight tinge of stubbornness clinging to the edges.

RE: Time Alone - Shadow - September 30, 2014

"I could say the same for you" the dark furred wolf replied with an even voice, tinged with stubbornness. He was amused although he didn't show it, instead his expression was indifferent and stern, eyes of liquid silver bright, cold and harsh as his gaze locked onto the yearling's icy blue ones. His tongue raked across his gleaming canines in a threatening manner and the white scars against his pelt illuminated by the flash of lightning in the distance gave him the look of an angel, bringing death. Which was exactly why his bloodline's name was called Angelus Mortis. His stance was calm and steady, neither aggressive or submissive but cold and unforgiving. The aura of power, strength radiating off him and he felt the presence of the shining father around him as the storm raged on, but he was not afraid for he knew Optimus Maximus had made it, perhaps for his benefit.

Silver eyes glittered as he gazed at the yearling, his stance no longer dominant but relaxed as if he always lived in the middle of the storm which in a way he did. The presence of the shining father wreathed gently around him, offering strength and power and he felt a deep reverence in him. From the bottom of his heart to the flesh and the blood and the bones. Perhaps his patron was indeed the king of the gods. But then the god of war was also a very important figure in his life. Could there be two patrons? Gaze remaining cold and calculating, nothing changed in his expression as he thought.

"Well, why did you run straight into me? I did not charge headfirst into you did I?" he said in a soft dangerous voice, his tail flicking in a rhythm behind him as he spoke although liquid silver eyes softened just a tiny bit. "I believe I deserve an apology." he said, his indifferent mask still on his face. Another flash of lightning came down, only a few tree lengths away from them, once again illuminating the white scars littered on his pelt. Silver fur glowed brightly as the scars glowed even brighter, a pure white color.

RE: Time Alone - Kesuk - September 30, 2014

Kesuk was used to way worse than lightning, so the strike only a few trees away didn't startle her at all. She lifted her head, the flash giving her icy blue eyes an eerie glow. It illuminated the other wolf's scars, his fur glowing. She felt like the devil next to this wolf who's fur glowed white. She liked it.

"I'm sorry that I'm not sorry." she offered hotly. This wolf radiated power and she wouldn't let it intimidate her. It was not in her nature to be below people.

RE: Time Alone - Shadow - October 04, 2014

A grim smile crept up his lips though a glimmer of amusement appeared in his sterling eyes. "Pretty girl aren't ya?" he said, moving closer towards her, a dark glint in his bright eyes. Truthfully he had no intention of doing what his posture said he would do but he wanted to see if it would frighten the little girl. Sadistic bastard wasn't he? Blame his father. A coy smirk appeared on his platinum features as he continued to approach her.

"Got any boyfriends around to protect you?" he said, the smirk still on his features, still approaching her, his tail flicking behind him as he walked. Paarthurnax would probably not approve of this but....it wasn't like he was going to actually do it right? That was two entirely different things, acting and actually doing. He wasn't really acting but same thing right?

RE: Time Alone - Kesuk - October 04, 2014

Sorry its so short xD

The older male approached her with an intimidating stance, a evil grin plastered onto his gleaming white teeth. He asked her if she had a boyfriend to protect her in a mocking way. She squared her shoulders.

”I can protect myself, thank you very much. And if you needed to know that, I would have told you>” She scoffed and smirked in his face. This man didn’t look like the kind of wolf that would do the thing he was suggesting.

RE: Time Alone - Shadow - October 06, 2014

He ignored her words, instead the glint of a madman began glowing in his platinum eyes. Perhaps he might actually do it. After his first taste of being with a woman, he wanted more and this female was just standing in front of him. Paarthurnax would never approve but she didn't need to know did she? And she was so damn far away, he was torn between doing it on the she-wolf or just backing away and rushing back to the Bypass to maintain order.

He continued to approach her and attempted to lick her cheek in a sultry manner and traced his tail across her flank slowly. That wouldn't get him in trouble with Paar would it? He suppressed a shiver, hoping she would never find out he did such an intimidate act with a random stranger female.

RE: Time Alone - Kesuk - October 06, 2014

The silver male approached her closely, a devilish glint in his glowing eyes. On second thought, maybe he would do it. He ran his tail along her side and attempted to lick her cheek slowly. Kesuk jerked her head to avoid his touch but did not move away. That would show weakness, and she did not do weakness. She looked him in the eyes, a dark look in her ice blue gaze.

"Don't. Touch. Me." she hissed in a low voice, her fangs glinting in the flashes of lighting.

RE: Time Alone - Shadow - October 07, 2014

A amused smirk crossed his silver features as he stepped back, not really wanting to be with anyone other than Paar and yawned slightly as she showed her fangs. He wasn't afraid. "Wouldn't want to anyways, loyalty first." he grinned settling down against a tree, waiting for the storm to past. Jupiter had given him a warning and words of wisdom and he was going to heed his god's words. It was rare the king of the gods would advise a mere Praetor of Legion and he would treasure it greatly.

Mars helped him whenever he was in battle, telling him which move to use, how to win the fight, battle tactics while Jupiter advised him with leading and everything else. He was a firm believer of the Roman gods and nothing would sway him to either side. "Jupiter is stirring up a massive storm." he said.

RE: Time Alone - Kesuk - October 07, 2014

Kesuk sat back on her haunches, the trees above sheltering her from the worst of the rain. She ignored his weird comment about the storm and studied his smirking face.

"Well its good to know your not a complete douchebag. If you were I would pity your mate." she hissed at him, wanting to make him uncomfortable but her attempted shows of fangs were failing miserably. Instead she lay down at the base of a particular bushy tree, curling up in the semi-dry grass below it. She let out a huge yawn as she realized just how terribly tired she was. "Now if you don't mind, you can leave so I can get some sleep." she looked at him with bored eyes, her head resting on her deep brown paws.

RE: Time Alone - Shadow - October 08, 2014

Fade? :)

At the comment about him not being a complete douchebag, he laughed softly. Unafraid of her hissing tone. "Hmm. Thanks for ya compliment." he replied sarcastically, amusement threading within his voice. The storm was slowly quieting down, giving way to faint sunlight and a brief cold winter breeze. He should be getting back to the Bypass now, at her comment of leaving her alone, he grinned. "As you wish, Milady." he said and turned.

Walking in the direction of home, he did not once look back at the female for he had promised Paar and he wasn't going to break that anytime soon. Besides, there wasn't really anything attractive or nice about the female he had encountered. Nothing that attracted him to her, really. He breathed in the lingering smell of the storm as he trotted down the road home.

RE: Time Alone - Kesuk - October 08, 2014

Ya :)

"Yes, I'm very skilled in the compliment giving area." She laughed before resting her head on her paws and closing her eyes as the silver wolf walked away, her thoughts drifting to Koda back home.
