Massaraq leaned on @Towhee the length of the Iktome plains back to Moontide, when they reached his eyes glazed over looking up the plateau but he had been set on this path and he would take it. A harsh breath from him. It felt as if every mile not only from the mountains to the grove and the grove to the plateau weighed on him but every mile before that, since Moonglow. He knew then he would not have made it to Moontide without help, and with the packlands in sight, he was too exhausted to even worry, to think.
