Tracking into Troubles - Scarlett - December 27, 2014

I had some spare time! :3, @Kierkegaard

As Scarlett had a high level of curiosity she was eager to go the distance to explore. After her recent thought of how the current weather was too mild to be called winter she decided to explore the effects of it. This would also help with her geology and mapping. The albino was finding out where certain packs held up and were their borders were. She knew those of Swiftcurrent Creek and Noctisardor Bypass by now since they were close to Duskfire. Scavanger Bay was also easy to remember as for Blacktail Deer Plateau. The female had now traveled more down and into the country. There still wasn't a lot of snow except on the higher mountain tops.

The pale furred female was then caught by an area she hadn't discovered yet. It looked like a ring of mountains. Maybe there was something in the valley of it? A new type of prey she didn't know about or some plants that could be useful! Scarlett had found a new type of prey when exploring Sea Lion Beach after all. It took an hour of travel before she reached the foot of the mountains. The albino continued further on her travels. When she almost reached the top she realized that there was a pack in this area! Her ears fluttered back. She didn't want any trouble. The female was only here for research purposes after all. Scarlett weighted out her options. She didn't cross the border yet, if she stayed politely outside of the pack's borders she could have a glance into their territory and not offend anyone. Scarlett decided that was the perfect solution.

The female trotted forward until she clearly sniffed out a line she was not willing to cross. With her nose close to the ground she stayed neatly out of the area but was still exploring for plants, getting a grasp of the location and looking for tracks of unknown animals. Hopefully later she could connect this all into a conclusion.

The ashen male had never truly been fond of packs, but he had begun to understand the dynamics of them. Moz had disappeared and left him to the Spine and the wolves within it. While he may have found a way to understand the pack and how it was run, it did not make him any more social. Kierkegaard had spent a vast majority of his time traversing the borders or beyond their territory in search of prey. He had found that he knew very few of the wolves within the ranks, and though he had been accepted by Mordecai, the male had seemed as elusive as Kierkegaard. It did not bother the ghostly brute. He was fitted to a life of solitude. Nevertheless, he did find himself awfully protective over the borders of the Spine. When an unfamiliar scent wafted to him, his lengthy limbs carried him much faster than necessary to the source.
The pale woman had not crossed the line of their boundaries. His sharp golden gaze settled on her figure for a moment before he lowered his head towards the earth and sauntered forward, brows furrowed. The brute was not a social creature. He was not one for words of warning or gentle reminders. As he neared her, the Demonte-Sairensu male cast his tail upwards and his lips reeled back to reveal ugly yellow canines. Flashing them, he lifted his skull higher and released a wicked snarl to the woman. Without so much as a word, Kierkegaard darted forward and snapped his jaws threateningly. The ghostly creature’s hackles were on end; he appeared very much like a savage.
His protective nature was not uncommon. He had taken Signe into that pack, and he would not allow strangers anywhere near the outskirts of their lands. The pale woman smelled of some foreign pack; she was far worse than an outsider… she was an enemy.

You're welcome :3

The albino smelled the dung of some plant eater, it must be a big one since the feces were also rather.. large. She wondered; Were there extra large super deer in this area? The red eyed female followed the tracks that started by the pile of dung. Her tail wagged slightly in her moment of piece. Even the paw prints of this super deer were big. How exciting! Although her excitement was quickly disrupted. An ashen male looked really furious and Scarlett didn't even understand why. She stayed neatly outside the borders. She had not harassed anyone. The female jumped in shock when jaws came her way. Her tail immediately tugged between her legs, her hackles upright in seconds. "Well excuse you," she spoke with a frown and slowly dropped her hackles after her mild fright. The female had not even shown her teeth mainly because she didn't want to fight. She was smaller, untrained and had a dislike for fighting in general.

The albino's red eyes turned to the other, obviously male. A quirky smile turned on the female's lips. "Oh! A local! Just the one I wanted to speak. Hello," she greeted politely, and with a wag of her tail. Of course she wasn't stupid, she was going to kill this wolf with kindness. "Great location you have here. I suspect super deer roaming this place, could you confirm?," Scarlett continued on her ultra friendly tone. A smile turned on her lips almost like she was unaffected by the male's snarling jaws. Scarlett would love to know more about this type of wildlife. It might not be a suitable prey. Yet, it is always handy to know they existed and what to expect from such a super deer. She peeked behind the male. "Do you give tours?," she asked and then chuckled. "I am just joking," she then giggled, finding herself at least a bit funny. Scarlett would easily go of she was asked politely. She didn't respond to snarls, or well, correction, she would not like to listen to that type of behavior. But if she was bitten she would get the hell out of here. The thing was... no one ever asked politely.

The female was so curious about everything. Scarlett was an observer and by giving the male a type of behavior he might not expected was amazingly funny and interesting to see how his reaction would be.

Super Deer = Moose. Also, I am laughing so hard. 'Do you give tours?'. I can't XD
