It soon became apparent why the other fellow was aggravated with the little shits as he called them, as an acorn was thrown in his direction. Luke glanced to the rodents in the trees with a quirked brow, unable to recall a time when he had been on the receiving end of such behavior. There had been times when he had been incessantly chattered at for daring to pass through an area the squirrels thought belonged to them, but never had he been attacked with projectile acorns. It lead him to wonder the cause.

"If you could catch them you could eat them," Luke chuckled, his silver eyes returning to the male. "Unfortunately that's all I got. Ain't no little shit repellant that I know of," he winked. Briefly he considered making a charge up the tree to attempt startling them into fleeing, but by experience he knew squirrels to be clever enough to know when they were out of harm's way, and knew they would stand their position. They were not as flighty as some of the wood's other creatures.

"What did you do to get them so riled up?" Luke queried with a grin.
