Oh good. He wasn't the only one around who didn't understand squirrels. Maybe if he were a little better connected around these parts, he could contact the squirrel whisperer who'd likely have a better chance at figuring it all out. Or not. Something told him those bushy tailed rats would remain a mystery for as long as they continued to exist. They were like cockroaches, but bigger... and with the capability to throw things. Cursed opposable thumbs. He secretly wanted them.

His eyes kept darting upwards into the trees. Something told him those squirrels would allow him a moment's reprieve while they reconvened and plotted a deadlier assault than their previous onslaught. He didn't trust them. No wolf should. "Are you having any trouble with them? Or is it just me?" He risked a glance towards the wolf, pulling his eyes out of the canopy of trees. 

The wolf had a blue nose. His nose was blue. The fuck?

Kero took a few scrambling steps back. Oh god, this wolf was diseased and he hoped like hell it wasn't contagious. "What is wrong with you!?" he hissed, shying backwards into the trunk of a tree he hadn't realized was there. "Like shit. Are you contagious?"
