Sebastian really wanted a change of topic to be honest. He had thought about his family and how his father was probably glad that he would have been dead, but maybe the female meant his other family. His Caldera family. That could be, he just thought he did them proud for protecting them. It was terribly foolish though. Now he was injured, and there was nothing he could do about it than to let himself recover. Sebastian was certain that he wasn't very keen on leaving the Caldera lands behind anytime soon. It sounded genuine, he really did feel stupid but he was proud enough to not want to be reminded of it.

Sebastian limped on, his body was almost growing numb by now. The grey male wanted to keep going, and it was probably his mind that kept him going. "I do appreciate you helping me. I do," he spoke to the female. He was actually more than grateful because otherwise he wouldn't have made it home. Sebastian wondered what he could do for her to show that he was grateful. He was still limping now but maybe in the far future he could help her out or something.
