Those ears would flick back fully as the male questioned her, not that she knew much of the grove just the few that were within it. But it seemed the dark male chimed in, saving her rear end. She would confess, knowing she had made a mistake; one she nearly found her self paying for. Blinking once, that head would rise once more to it's original position, not see if she should say more or not. Knowing the pack was rather small in number, perhaps she could use it as a buffer.
