In his eyes, his parents may as well have been idols of some sort, but perhaps that was simply how children saw them. He offered up a bobble of his head to confirm that yes, Bazi was his mother. But he didn't quite get a word in edgewise as she continued talking and that was all fine too. He didn't mind the chatter in the slightest; she seemed comfortable in his presence. No attempt to coddle him or otherwise talk down to him, which had been a change of pace from the last newest recruit encounter.
