with the absence of tachyon, deirdre had been forced to overcome the fear of her father. it had been a slow process, and grueling for her to endure, but together they had done the thing. her nightmares had all but ended and his nearness was accepted and even required, now. the young witch was an apt pupil of her father, who taught her as the winged beast did of magick. today, for the first time, they stole past the borders of donnelaith. the wind howled for her to return, and the trees hissed her name through their teeth. deirdre felt she ought to never leave, but her father bid it, and for the greater good of her craft she obeyed this without argument at all. it was known that he knew much, and far more than she. it would be good, to see beyond the wood. she kept to his side and as the forest opened to bay, deirdre looked to yawning waters. what is it? she breathed, looking to @Lasher in an awestruck manner.
