A smile and a cautiously inviting stance gave Warbone the cue he needed to come even nearer to the foxish coywolf— his words further eliciting a low noise of approval and amusement from the unwieldy male; it sounded like he repeated the word "date" under his breath— and his copper tail swayed long and stiff like a bat as he found his nose hovering (with permission) around the stranger's ruff. When he was satisfied with the exploration, Warbone took a step back, and looked over the unkempt young adult at a closer angle now, allotting him the same freedom of exploring if he were so inclined. A lot of the others he had met did not often talk first, beckoning the physical before the verbal, but this was a canine different than them, and the Solothurn intuitively sought to implore the loner with talking.

"Is there a reason you move without companions?"
if sins were etched into the surface of bones,
i’d need another skeleton to record all my wrongs
