Oh dear, did I miss this somehow a month ago?!

Fox did not often travel outside Redhawk Caldera, but today she had gone past the fuzzy, invisible barrier that separated their turf from the rest of the world. She was not particularly hungry, but perhaps that was only because she had grown used to it. Peter's death was still fresh, but she refused to let herself fall prey to falling too deep into despair.

Something caught her eye ahead, and Fox immediately narrowed in on the dark, slender figure. He didn't look particularly malicious, but she trusted no-one in these trying times. Especially after what had happened to her precious Peter.
